It's Been about 9 months has past since i last made a Monster Mix showcasing some of my music so i thought it was about time to do another one. 2 hours worth of my music with official releases from Breakbeat Paradise, Katakana Edits, Big Fat Mama Beats, That's Not An Edit, Life Support Machine and some exclusive new tunes from a 4 track EP headed your way soon (label and track ID secret at the moment) plus a track from an upcoming Cuttin It Fine release as well as some funky edits and remixes i have put together.

The mix is a studio mix, so made in Ableton. Hope you guys dig the beats, 38 tracks in all full of funky flavour.

Als Resident der "Sex and the City-Party Tour“ von Pro Sieben rockte er deutschlandweit in den größten Clubs. Derzeit ist er im Schick im Rahmen des „SingleKlubs" als 7“-Vinyl-DJ und mit 12“-House-Scheiben unter dem Motto „Timeless“ aktiv. In seinem 50-Minuten Crazy-Mashup-Mix hört ihr alles was in die Beine geht. Von Funk über Oldschool-Hip-Hop, Mashups, Disco bis Filmmusik…. Volle 7inch- Energie!

Nebenbei dem DJing produziert er - eigene Tracks und Remixes befreundeter Bands und Songwriter -  vor allem Indietronic und Alternative-Clubsounds. In den letzten Jahren bearbeitete er viele Bands, vor allem aus der Rhein-Main-Region: darunter Wyoming, Dynarchy, Louis Peschke, Velveteen, Citizen Tim, Rupert Falsch, Scut, Janis Elko und Gisbert zu Knyphausen.

On the RIPEcast this week close friend of ours Tadao! Recorded Live at Birds of a Feather 2024. 
Tadao became captivated by Breakbeats in the sands of the Black Rock desert in 2002. Years later he joined Strategik to help throw renegades and keep the Bay area Breaks scene vibrant. In the 2000 teens, the proliferation of Breaks in the Bay Area waned. Never content to stand on the sidelines, he jumped on the decks and founded Red Hot Beverly to help keep Breaks alive and well.

20240618 Bombs: Live set of Phish edits

Elemental Vol. 1 moves through earth, air, fire, and water not as metaphors but as emotional states. The songs drift like weather systems, mixing tenderness with atmosphere - acoustic guitars and field-warm vocals meeting the pulse of understated techno rhythms. The production is deliberately porous: wood and wire breathing alongside soft synths and spectral drum-machine traces. It's an "acoustic techno" album in the sense that rhythm and resonance share the same dirt. The songs carry the physical textures of wind in rafters, gravel underfoot, or rain on a roof, yet they shimmer with digital light. This meeting of folk intimacy and electronic timbres gives the album its peculiar gravity - part back-porch confession, part after-hours heartbeat.

Lyrically, Elemental Vol. 1 abandons conventional pop architecture. Instead of verse–chorus–bridge repetition, each piece unfolds as a field poem - free-form, continuous, and responsive to its own inner weather. The writing treats structure as tide rather than grid: refrains return when they need to, not when they're told to. This openness lets the language breathe in sync with the natural imagery that drives it - storms, light, stone, silence - and invites listeners to inhabit the songs as evolving spaces rather than predictable forms. Across the various mixes of its six song poems - We Learn the Sky, Don't Sightsee This Heart, Be a Storm in Me, Til the Heat Is Gone, You Happen Like Weather, and Wild Gifts - the album traces the cycles of intimacy and impermanence, finding in their motion the same quiet power that turns seasons, wheels, and hearts.

PREMIERE CUTZ: Unknown Artist - Skylo

Back from a 3 week vacation through Cost Rica and Nicaragua and it feels DAMN good to get back in front of some nice monitors and turn up the volume after 20 days of listening to music through small earbuds!!

Just put some finishing touches on this mix and now I think it's ready for my soundcloud fans.  This is a good foray into some funky house and of course, I couldn't leave out good ol' funky breaks to top things off.
