Frequent collaborators Robin Schellenberg & Rauschhaus present the ‘I Am Not My Ego’ EP on When We Dip XYZ. On this two-tracker, the seasoned producers serve a masterclass in melodic techno, fusing creative transitions and ambiguous emotions into a dark ambience. 

The title track, ‘I Am Not My Ego’, begins its pace with ominous bass stabs and a nimbling arp. An hypnotizing synth line then adds to the track's daunting vibe, as sighing ad-libs release the ever-building tension. 

On ‘Rise Of Thoughts’, the dynamic groove goes back and forth with its assorted counter-melodies. The hopeful progression of the breakdown leads into a stripped-back drop topped-off by industrial textures and effects.

Titled 'La Hora de Mosquitos', this new colossus of a two-tracker treats us to an epic whirlwind of rolling techno and hypnotic house laced with a solid bit of 80s guitar solos. Ready to take any stadium by storm, the title-track hybridizes Koletzki's signature heavy-duty four-to-the-floor approach with a tang of Santana-esque Latin rock, glamour yet pensive, packing an equal amount of punch and cinematic dreaminess - which would honestly not feel out of place in a Michael Mann feature. Mixing the tried-and-tested Chicago-style shuffle with a cutting-edge sound design and that tang of opaque, nightly ambience a la Miami Vice, Koletzki serves up a wistful pumper of a tune that, all nostalgic it is, doesn't dwell the past. An understated weapon that starts off as a metronomic puncher but slowly hatches into a big-room-ready electrifier, 'Satya' merges the finest of Italo's steadfast flowrate with a string-laden buildup that gets all the more muscular as bars unfold, gently blurring the lines between space-discoid funk and a somewhat pop and trance-infused attitude. Up next on Stil vor Talent, Berlin-via-Paris based producer Temple Tears steps in with his debut transmission for us, 'Silent Teacher'. Exponent of a highly energetic, no-surrender strain of electronics, the French talent has us submerged into an effervescing pool of pulsating rhythms and rogue sine waves all set at sweeping dance floors clean this coming summer. Highlighting Temple Tears' steady evolution towards higher BPM ratios and a more in-your-face approach to production, 'Silent Teacher' conjures up the spirits of turn-of-the-millennium figures Cirez D and Fehrplay, both of which played a strong inspirational part in the composition of the lead single.

Stacking up incendiary levels of NRG before releasing it with resolute impact, the title-track takes us on a much physical ride from neon-splattered EBM landscapes onto further claustrophobic cosmic tech ventures. All in tendinous bass and fireball arps, here comes a thunderbolt of Italo-flavoured ready to blast your system to shreds.
