The Action Transfers released a single called The Light in 1985. Should have been a big hit in the UK, but it did not get the success the track deserved. Popular does not mean better.

This is a fan-made remix of a band from Macclesfield where I grew up. In my view they had it all - great songs, great musicians and a strong local following, but they never got signed by a big label and never got the support they deserved. That said, I think Stock, Aitken and Waterman almost signed them (who knows what would they would have done to the sound of Officers and Gentleman). Lesser bands did get a deal and we talk about some of these bands now as though they are gods etc. Getting a good record deal along with the right level of promotion made a big difference to bands in the 1980s.

This album is about carrying things longer than you thought you could.

It starts in memory and pressure—loss, routine, drifting, trying to survive the days without answers. Somewhere along the way, it falls apart completely, hits the abyss, and has to sit there long enough to feel it. Not to fix it. Just to be honest about it.

The second half isn’t about being “healed.” It’s about finding footing, learning where home actually is, and realizing that even when the echoes don’t go away, you can still wake up, still move, still choose to keep going.

Not a victory lap—just proof I’m still here. this is a rebirth of our first album something Ira and the randolphs worked together on A true RxI album
