Recorded live during the DAMNED show in Detroit in October 2014, which is an amazing "exhibition of enlightened darkness" that I've been honored to be a part of since it's inception (see http://www.thatdamnedshow.com).  In addition to stunning visual art, there are performance vignettes throughout the evening by some of the areas most creative and talented performers.  I highly recommend the event - there really isn't anything else like it in the country.

I provided the musical backdrop for each of the performances this particular night, and the music was entirely improvised based on the energy each vignette suggested.  Towards the end of the evening I co-created with a dear friend, Ms. Chantal, of Masala Dances (see http://masaladances.com), who provided a stunning movement performance...while covered in mud.  The effect was amazingly dramatic and the audience was mesmerized - although it was actually freezing cold for her!  It was truly a magical artistic moment, I'm thrilled that the audio recording of it turned out, and I'm honored to share it with you.

The world's premier visionary violinist, Dixon's life mission is to inspire people - and he has done so across North America, including giving four TED talks/performances, over ten years at Burning Man and Electric Forest, plus radio, TV, and film appearances.  A former technology leader and symphony violinist, Dixon walked away from a distinguished career to follow his dream full-time, and invented a whole new music genre.  Dixon now improvises on a 5-string electric violin with a looping system he developed to create an all-live one-man symphony, guided by his remarkable personal story of life transformation.
