Ditian is one of those artists who have become instantly recognizable - you just need a few bars to know exactly who you're dealing with.
Not an easy feat to accomplish in these days of cookie-cutter tracks and similar sound palettes.
Having released on established labels such as Innervisions and TAU, we are thrilled to present his Applied Magic debut with 4 unique and characteristic tracks.

Ultraisma takes center stage. A trademark Ditian sequence building suspense over a robotic backdrop, finally screaming into the Abyss like a herd of mutant mastodons.

Kentia is the second in line. Synths explode like sparkling stars over an exoskeleton of metallic percussion parts, with each repetition drawing you deeper and deeper into the maelstrom.

Up Next, we have Inversion Of Control. Snakelike synth lines swirl in a sea of industrial percussions, with just the right mix of restraint and euphoria, and a breakdown for the books.

Truth Is An Obsession is breathing some fresh air into the mix. Light as a feather and shining like an ice cave full of  crystals, while a wistful melody floats weightlessly above it all.

This time, the artwork is provided by Andreas Steffen aka ZK Bucket, who not only is one of our favorite producers, but a singular fine artist in his own right.

PREMIERE : Ditian - Inversion Of Control (Original Mix) [Applied Magic]

After two contributions to Diynamic’s Four To The Floor series (Editions 10 and 17), Italian duo gizA djs are now releasing their first full EP on Diynamic titled „Acid Afternoon“.
The melancholia of the opening track „In The Sun“ is like running towards the sunset, trying to obviate its descent, when you know you should rather just halt and enjoy the warmth of its last rays. 
„Rise“ is a slowly building and heartfelt dance floor affair. Its trippy arpeggiator is accompanying you while you fall deeper down the rabbit hole. 
„Reload“ is a stopover on the journey. Glance around and feel it all: your heart is pounding, the colors never shone brighter, and your tour guide is pointing out all the places where you can find spiritual enlightenment.
And title track „Acid Afternoon“ is the story’s centerpiece: All engines are go and fuzziness fills the room. Don’t look too far ahead, just focus on the now.

dubspeeka - Fargo EP

Bristol has long been known for its deep love of everything dubwise, from reggae through to the flourishing bass scene the city is now synonymous with. Hailing from this melting pot, dubspeeka continues the tradition with 3 heavy cuts that effortlessly blend speaker punishing subs with the driving, crisp techno that Oliver Huntemann’s new Senso label is becoming known for. 
First up is Move - the title an unavoidable directive seemingly emitted from the propulsive groove. The track oozes menace and tension -its heads-down attitude will go over big on harder-edged dance floors. Likewise, title track Fargo is relentless in its mission - the tough bottom end and tight groove is offset by some surprisingly subtle pads - but the result remains a hypnotic bruiser of a cut. 
Spiral Tribe, named after the legendary free party warriors of the 90s, completes the release. Every bit as at home in a dark warehouse as a outdoor rave, dubspeeka seems to be flying the flag for true tough-as-nails party music – and long may it continue.

A core member of the Oberbaumbrücke family delivers a sleek label debut.
As the club’s technician, Joris Biesmans (aka Biesmans) has been an invaluable fixture at Watergate for the last five years. A true audiophile, when he’s not tuning WG’s soundsystem to perfection, he’s building modular synths and honing his studio craft. 

Having recently quit his technician job to focus on making music full time, he’s a new addition to the WG agency roster and follows suits with an impressive debut EP on the label, after releases on Correspondent, AEON and Adana Twins’ TAU. 

The title track ‘Electric Love’ is a chugging slice of electro, marked by lush key progressions and an attitude-drenched vox from newcomer Idorski. Marvin & Guy Amplifier are tapped for remix duties and inject the original with a celestial melody line primed for end-of-night moments.   

‘Technician on a Mission’ is driven by a polished bassline that modulates throughout, while 80s synths give it a retro-future stamp. 

‘City Boy’ is a modern day synthwave gem, reinforcing the breadth of sound espoused by Watergate Records.
