So happy to present another recording collaboration with my dearest and most cherished brother, Ben Shelton.  We may live 5000 miles apart, but we won't let the distance between Seattle and London keep us from doing what we love.  

This project has been a shining light for me personally as we waded through the cold and lonely murk of Winter, separated from friends and family.  Having this project to lean on has kept the creative spark alive in us.

   Having lived in Florida for two years now, I have been lucky to meet some AMAZING people. I was lucky to meet this weeks guest (and one of these amazing people) when I went to play Renegade Sound in Gainesville a few moths ago. Please welcome CEDDIMO. He is one of two resident DJ's at Renegade Sound,  Darcii and Ced...They're on to something special. The attention to the craft of dj'ing and a deep passion for our music is held in high regard and it shows. I was fucking floored by his set. He ripped the roof straight off of that bitch. Then I met him after and he's just the sweetest kid. Friendly, welcoming, chill.. and a proper junglist to top it off. I'm so happy  to share this one with you all. Please enjoy. Over Christmas 2014 I needed a break from recording
my album, searching online for a song I recalled from
my youth, I fell into a rabbit hole of thousands of
YouTube playlists and posts, rediscovering the songs
my friends and I would gather and listen to as
13 & 14 yr olds every Saturday in East Berlin on Radio DT64
(now Berlin's Radio Fritz).

I stumbled back to the future, collecting over 5000 songs
on YouTube, learning for the first time the artists behind
the songs we heard almost 25 years ago.

The forthcoming trilogy is the result of 18 month
of building edits from YouTube recordings and stitching
them together off-line. I could not include every song,
nor indeed even the entire tracks from this small period
until 1993, so this is my personal history of electronic
music arriving in Berlin.

This trilogy will not be sold, it was a labor of love,
born of nostalgia and made for sharing.

David Dewey and I collaborated from 4800 miles apart to bring you a new mix series, embracing our decades-long common love of deep techno and house beats. Through this project, we realized the distance between us does not separate us - it simply forces a creative approach to accomplish what we are passionate about. 

Mixed between Seattle and London with master recordings passed back and forth, this became an, "okay, I see your tribal melodic, and raise you with driving progressive" kind of game, and was a fun challenge to see what we tossed at each other. We hope you enjoy this series as much as we enjoyed programming it for you.
