I made this Djset for Halloween Party in Geneva in October 2021 but never had a chance to record it until now, so it's not so fresh but I really love the energies inside and the choice of the selection just make my feel happy and crazy.
I hope you will like it as much as I do and I thank you in advance for listening and supporting my work for so much years now.

My Weirdo Brain

This episode features UNEXPECTED and his "Intergalactic Journey"-titled live set with tracks from old and new EPs, plus some unreleased tracks. Tiago Matos aka DJ Slash aka Unexpected is one of The Cable Guys, a producer and DJ, with a degree in Electronic Music and Music Production in E.S.A.R.T. At the end of the 90 s after some band experiences in Metal, he discovers Psytrance, something completely new and very interesting that changes the way he sees and feels music. In 2001 DJ Slash is born as a project which extends from Psytrance to Minimal. In 2006 production starts in partnership with Neurotronik, the full-on project Twisted Trolls. In 2012 he starts representing Woorpz Records and in this same year, he starts his solo live-act project called Unexpected, a night full-on project, mixing good and sharp rhythms with mysterious melodies, already counting with some releases on Woorpz. In 2013 DJ Slash is invited to work in Switzerland on a ski station playing on Courage Club every night until 2015. In the summer of 2015 DJ Slash releases his first compilation album on Woorpz Rec called "Rendez-Vous". In 2016 Unexpected decides to change his music to psychedelic full-on and also starts a new project with his friend Alex Rodrigues called "The Cable Guys". In 2017 both projects were invited to represent Reversible Rec. In 2019 Unexpected released his first EP called "The Trigger" and in 2022 the second "Schumann Resonance" both on Reversible Rec.

Galactic Groove Records present the fifth edition of our mix series sets.
Here we will present Live and Dj sets from the Galactic Groove Records label artists along with some guest sets from some of our friends and favourite artists involved with other top labels in the underground psytrance scene. 

For this edition we present a very special album presentation live set from label artist, the extremely talented Brazilian producer Lucas Mac Allyster aka "Pineapple Head".
This set was recorded live at the first edition of the Galactic Groove Gathering in Kildare, Ireland Sat. 09/09/23.
The debut album titled "Schizofriends" is a collaboration project  with several other artists & friends along with two tracks with his other two alter egos.
"Schizofriends" will be released on 02/11/23 and will be available from all major digital download and streaming platforms.

Pineapple Head is the forest/dark psychedelic trance project by Lucas Mac Allyster, born in the north east of Brazil.
Music has always been present in his life, and so was intrigued from a very young age.
He is a multi instrumentalist & singer & is producing alternative rock and indie music since 2016, & is now also studying electronic music production.
He believes that he is addicted to modern-day audio technologies.
His music described best by him, is a walk through nocturnal atmospheres and alien sounds.

Short Story

In the year 3047, Earth is silent. The oceans have stilled, the cities have dimmed, and humanity has vanished into the stars. But orbiting the planet is a lone satellite—an ancient relic from the early 21st century—still broadcasting a signal into the void.

Inside it, a single track loops endlessly: Eternity. A trance anthem encoded with the memories of a generation that dared to dream beyond gravity. It was written by two artists who believed music could transcend time, a sonic beacon for anyone, anywhere, who might still be listening.
One day, light-years away, a drifting vessel intercepts the signal. Its pilot—a synthetic being with no heartbeat but a soul shaped by frequencies—hears the track and feels something impossible: nostalgia. The rhythm awakens visions of Earth, of dance floors under neon skies, of love that defied decay.

Guided by the melody, the pilot sets course for the origin. Not to reclaim the past, but to honor it. To remix it into something new. And as Eternity plays once more, the stars pulse in sync, and the universe remembers.

During the middle school, he started to study guitar and the music theory at the “Experience Music Academy” near Padova, where in 2017 summer got his diploma. In 2013/2014, He got in touch with the world of Trance music and after taking part in some parties, he fell in love with it, giving him the opportunity to develop as a person and soul. Now Slideॐ plays around the world and after a European, Mexican & Brazilian Tour, He teaches guitar in his studio and produces Psytrance with some funky/jazz/blues influences, ready to shake you with his brand new sound!!

Dhira was hit by music from his earliest childhood, since then he has continued to develop his own sensitivity to sound and the creative part of his life.
Trained as a drummer, his first contact with the musical universe of the electronic scene would completely change his life.
He decided to become a dj in the mid-90s, to share his sense of rhythm and partying. He then began to mix in events in the South-East of France, participate in the development of parties with the "Body and Mind" collective, host a radio show "Astral Communication" and share stages with prestigious artists and founders of electronic music.
From there, his passion for music continued to guide him on a journey filled with encounters across the globe and its dancefloors (Brazil, Croatia, France, India, Japan, Indonesia, Morocco, Portugal, Russia, Switzerland, Spain, Turkey).
He joined the Swiss label PEAK RECORDS in 2007 and collaborated with the famous duo YabYum and Ajja. In 2016, continuing his search for new experiences, he joined alongside the artists of Digital Shamans Records and released four compilations, bringing together prestigious artists such as:
Ajja, Act One, Braingeeners, Doom's, Endeavour, Earthworm, Gaspard, Headworks, Ingrained Instincts, Jumpstreet, Psymmetrix, Radikal Moodz, Z3nkaï and many others ...
