The Staticfield beschäftigt sich seit Ende der achtziger Jahre des vergangenen Jahrhunderts mit elektronischer Musik mit anfangs vorrangig gelegtem Fokus auf die Rap-Musik und der HipHop-Kultur...Er war Mitglied verschiedener Formationen, wie z.B. „Rhymes R´ Us“ und war unter dem Namen MC Sharkey auf der Kultplatte der deutschen Oldschool-Ära „Schützt die Rille“ vertreten...Als einer der wenigen zu dieser Zeit, beschäftigte er sich schon damals mit dem von Patois getränkten Rap-Stil der Jamaikaner: Ragga, Dancehall und dergleichen. In einer damals weit entfernten Zeit vor Gruppen wie Seeed eher eine Seltenheit. Neben Beteiligung in Raggae-Bands, rappte er natürlich im klassischen Rap-Stil und bot auch Gesang auf...Auf seinem Wege begann er, aus der Not geboren, sich aber auch mit der musikalischen Produktion von elektronischer Musik zu beschäftigen, wobei er immer mehr seine musikalische Entfaltung als Beat-Producer erfuhr.

Er arbeitete mit vielen und so manchen Deutschrap-Oldschool-Stars , die jedem Fan bekannt sein sollten. Auf seinem Wege bis heute finden sich viele Produktionen mit diversen Künstlern (unter anderem reichen seine „Famous Fingers“ über den großen Teich), die nicht nur in der elektronischen Ecke anzusiedeln sind und behauptete und baute immer mehr sein musikalisches Können als Allroundproducer aus, was später auch in seiner sehr hochqualitativen Arbeit als Videoproducer gipfelte. Als Beat-Producer “hands on pads” - als Video-Producer “eye on right focus”....

The Staticfield has been involved in electronic music since the late 1980s, initially primarily focusing on rap music and hip-hop culture... He was a member of various formations, such as "Rhymes R' Us" and was under represented by the name MC Sharkey on the cult record of the German old school era “Schützt die Rille”...As one of the few at that time, he was already involved with the Patois-soaked rap style of the Jamaicans: Ragga, Dancehall and the like . A rarity in what was then a distant time before groups like Seeed. In addition to participating in raggae bands, he rapped in the classic rap style and also sang... Along the way, born out of necessity, he also began to engage in the musical production of electronic music, where he always... experienced more of his musical development as a beat producer.

He worked with many German rap old school stars who should be known to every fan. On his way to this day there are many productions with various artists (including his “Famous Fingers” that reach across the pond), which are not only in the electronic corner, and he increasingly asserted and expanded his musical skills as an all-round producer later culminated in his very high quality work as a video producer. As a beat producer “hands on pads” - as a video producer “eye on right focus”....

Creative force GIGEE is riding high, cutting through as one of the most exciting fresh producers right now. The Polish-born, Paris-based producer’s 2019 debut ‘Reborn Pulse’ EP on Berlin based label Katermukke put her firmly in the spotlight, charting high in Beatport’s Melodic House & Techno top 100 within days, and singled out for support by Sven Vath. She followed that up by also joining and becoming an exciting new name on Ralf Kollman and Anja Schneider’s Mobilee roster with her ‘Lullaby’ EP. She had honed her skills ghost-writing for other producers but was now putting her name out there and gaining her rightful place in the electronic scene.

A Self-taught producer, she has a fresh take on techno, blending elements such as progressive and melodic house and techno but typically rejecting formula and rulebook. Crossing genres not only in music but in fields of interest such as fashion or philanthropy, she works simultaneously on multiple ideas in a perfect creative storm. A longtime fan of classical music, she’s also in the past worked on a classical/electronic interface project among other new music which inspires her.

Growing up she was always a geek with the best playlist and CDs. For early influences she cites Paul Kalkbrenner, after exploring electro house, Brodinski, Boys Noize…and the dramatic passion of classical music. Her DJ days started during a gap year in Paris; already a music head, she collaborated with music collectives and played at the famous Batofar Club, before choosing music as a profession. She’s had much involvement in her past with reputable music tech startups, including Sillicon Valley visits, resulting in her selling her first app at the tender age of 21 etc. She’s an avid sports fanatic too with a big focus on the tennis circuit and also across her huge football passion, mostly for her beloved Manchester United. 

Most recently though music has been her focus and her "BERLIN EP” peaked as #3 in top10 release charts in Germany, #7 in Spain, also jumping into Mobilee's all time bestselling release. She received support from BBC Radio 1 hosts Pete Tong and Sarah Story, and gained huge support from a number of esteemed artists like David Guetta, ARTBAT, and Joris Voorn.

2022 has seen her showcase her skills at some of the worlds standout stages, make her North American tour debut, tour Germany often at big events at the likes of RitterButzke & TanzHaus West (Frankfurt), KitKat Berlin, Fusion Club, Kanello Galore Munster, 45Hertz Hamburg, Odonien Cologne & many more.

GIGEE is a much talked about and talented artist, and 2023 promises to be the year where we see her climb ever further to the upper echelons of electronic music.
