Following EOMAC’s debut album “Spectre” on Killekill, released earlier this year, here come remixes of the three most outstanding tracks of the album.
TOMMY FOUR SEVEN picked the title track SPECTRE, taking away some of the dense texture of the original, speeding it up a bit and adding some straight-forward percussion to turn the original into a big anthem for the mellow moments on the dancefloor.
Lars Stöwe aka Anstam is using his ANNO STAMM-alias to rip out the distorted bassline of the grimey SU RIDDIM and add some playful bassline variations and some serious 808 business to it to turn it into a peaktime banger with lots of chicago flavour.
AnD do what they do best and turn SHELL OF DARK into a half-tempo stomper that after a while breaks up to a devastating weapon of distorted drums and melodies.

Reclaim Your City 150 | Joey Beltram (New York/Berlin)

For over the last 20+ years, Joey Beltram is considered one of the pioneers and a legendary producer of Techno and House. He has recorded on many of the biggest labels of the early 90's such as Nu-Groove, Tresor, Warp, Transmat, and R&S records. Much of his music during that time is widely acknowledged as groundbreaking. Beltram has also been heralded as a major influence by many of todays DJ's and producers including Daft Punk (as mentioned in their song "Teachers"). He has also produced many Techno staples of the 1990's including "Energy Flash", "Mentasm", "Forklift", "Ballpark" and "Game Form".

In more recent years Joey Beltram has worked with and remixed artist's and DJ's such as Adam Beyer, Carl Cox, Umek, Oliver Huntemann and Steve Lawler.

His productions on Harthouse, BUSH, MB Electronic and Drumcode have shown he still has the magic touch in the studio. Beltram has also headlined some of the the biggest Festivals and events worldwide including Nature One, Bonusz Festival, Awakenings, Rock-it open air, Coachella, BLOC, A Day at the Park, Full House Festival and Tomorrowland, to name a few.

Chicago born and bred DJ, Producer Joseph Manumaleuna aka DJ Hyperactive needs little introduce to those versed in the history of techno. As one of Daft Punk’s “Teachers” and “brother of the humble” according to Resident Adviser, his contributions to the underground continue to span generations. Honing his skills in the highly influential scene and sound of Chicago in the early 90s, DJ Hyperactive gained instant international recognition and has since gone on to play the most legendary and lauded events and venues over the last 20 years, such as Orbit/ Leeds, Liquid Room/ Tokyo, Love Parade/ Berlin, Shelter & Smart Bar/ Chicago, Interface/ Los Angeles, Movement/ Detroit, Basement & Output/ Brooklyn, Tresor & Berghain/ Berlin and the list doesn’t stop there. Also over the course of his career, he has produced over 100 remixes and original tracks, including classics such as ‘Venus’ & ‘Wide Open’/ Missile, ‘25HRs’/ Droid, “Music Box/ ‘4Trk’, Reptilian Tank & Chicago’/Contact, Drop Bass, Communique, Hybrid, Truncate, Figure, Plus 8, CLR, Blank Code, Impact Mechanics, Illegal Alien, to name a few. DJ Hyperactive returned to Chicago 2013 to reconnect with his family and musical roots.
