What is Ecstatic Dance? Imagine the highest high created on your own supply. No shoes, no talking, no external substances. Just you. Slowly you rise into ecstasy. 

The movement is yours, with no defined steps or distracting guidance. You are a sovereign human being. Enter your creative power through movement. Put your brain on standby and let your body take over. The music will carry you on a wave. It builds up somewhere deep down in your unconscious. It originates from your most profound innate power. Gently it rises to the surface to unleash a tsunami. 

We are so much more than we can imagine. It is time we allow ourselves to feel and embody. A famous quote says: "Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness, that most frightens us."

This Ecstatic Dance holds the space for us to rise to our full potential and become the sovereign creator we truly are. The full embodiment takes time, and rest, supported by some gong sounds to close the journey.

Around Samhein, the veil to our ancestors is thin. A music mix with invocations, tribal, downtempo, organic house, and glitch-hop strengthens the connection to ourselves and our ancestors all generations back. We can learn from their experiences and, at the same time, let go of anything from them that doesn't serve us anymore for the New Earth. Ecstatic Dance - Alchemy - The Art Of Inner Evolution

The set invites everyone to connect with their self-love. To achieve this, old belief and thought patterns are released during warm-up, allowing the heart to subsequently open unconditionally. Those who wish can also share this deep love through dance with others, creating a field of boundless love. The set guides through the three phases of alchemy, thereby supporting the transformation process. The concluding gong sound journey serves integration and solidifying the experience, so it can subsequently be carried into the world.

True alchemy doesn't necessarily involve transforming one metal into another, like turning lead into gold. Instead, it's an inner process where mental and emotional heaviness and impurities are transformed into light or inner gold. In short, alchemy is the process of inner evolution and thus increasing consciousness.

Ecstatic Dance - Let The Big Out

Martin, aka DJ Merlin the Alchemist, loves facilitating Ecstatic Dance Journeys. His special ingredient is creating a sacred space for transformation. Furthermore, he adds spoken invocations, supportive live instruments, and his alien voice. Whenever possible, he closes the dance with a live Gong Sound Journey. Years ago, he started with sound healing facilitation and, over time, also added Ecstatic Dance as a powerful modality. With all his experience from the former, he learned that holding space is his most crucial ingredient. We can only drop out of the mind and into ecstasy when we feel safe. Thus, he values all guidelines for ecstatic dance. No drugs, no shoes, no talking, no phones, and deep respect for everyone else are a time-tested recipe for unforgettable and embodied Ecstatic Dance journeys.
