2 For Joy (Mark Hall & Phil Beckett) released the "Mainstream EP" in 1992 on Cactus Records with "Driving In The Beat" as one of the 4 tracks.
I had completely forgot about it until I was on Mark XTC's Radio Show in April 2018 when DJ Jonay Amador dropped it and as soon as I heard the breaks in it, I wanted to do a remix.
