This is an edit of the Violence & Discord Remix by the one and only DJ Sasha, which was released in 1991 on 4th & Broadway Records (CAT# : 12 BRW 228).
This original vinyl pressing featured samples from "Whitney Houston - Love Will Save The Day", "Nicole - Rock The House" and "Sinnamon - I Need You Now".
Official release featured vocals by Dina Carroll, who was uncredited.

Brothers In Rhythm - Peace & Harmony (DJ Nipper Violent Edit)

In 2005 I did my 2nd Old Skool event at Satchmos Stoke-On-Trent.

Revisiting my time at Shelleys, Introspective, Freetown, Central Park and the influence from the Hacienda, this mix is a tribute to this time.

About 50% of the trax were a repeat from the 1st event so at the time I never released it. 18 years later I discovered the MiniDisc recordings while sorting my music room and decided that it maybe the right time :)

Pete Bromley B2B Mark Archer (Altern 8) Back In The Day Pres: Raves Of Longton Pt2 29-7-23

Here's a mix of my set from N.Y.E.  I played for a few hours in the 1991 Rave Cave before Shades Of Rhythm & Micky Finn.
The set starts off with some classic old skool piano house and it builds throughout towards the Ravier side of things as the night went on.. N-joy .x

J.RAINBOW 1991 MIX N.Y.E  2016/17 @ SPIEGELTENT BRISTOL

This is one of my favourite tapes from the Kaos nights @ Leeds Warehouse back in 1991. Anyone who knows this mix will probably agree that the tunes were amazing, tune selection great but some of the mixing was a little sketchy...... :)

Well after finding all the tracks, searching for 27 years, i have finally done a full retake of the tape. I have kept it as close to the original as possible, copying nearly all of the mixes exactly, apart from a few where they went out of bar.

The quality obviously makes this more enjoyable as some of the recordings back then weren't the best. 

I think all the mixes were done by Steve Williams and Mike Pickering on the night, not sure about Sasha.

This is the second of my "The Art Of Mixing" mix series which focuses solely on a collection of my favourite breaks tracks from the late 80's to the early 90's.
Many fond memories listening to all these tracks again like The Man Alive (Manchester) and spinning with DJ Welly on cold wet Wednesday nights at Wigan Pier where we had fun dropping lots of these wicked tunes.
