This song was born from raw frustration and defiance. I had to make it because artists like me—DJ Oracle—often feel powerless, stuck beneath giant music distribution platforms that prioritize profit over the creators themselves. Despite uploading my work with hope, SoundCloud—a cornerstone for so many emerging artists—failed to respond to not one, but 34 complaints, earning a notorious D- rating from the Better Business Bureau. That shock and betrayal is what fueled this anthem.

Right now (08/24/2025), I’m completely locked out of my account. The site instructs me to “reset my password,” but the process loops endlessly. I’ve run out of the “backup codes” SoundCloud once provided. As a result, I’m 100% locked out of my catalog — 110 songs and the fans I worked so hard to build. This song is my way of reclaiming power when the system silences artists.

Every lyric reflects that tension:

Verses expose the cold reality of ghosted artists and an institution that grades trust while abandoning creators.

Pre-choruses climb with righteous anger—“Boom, Boom, I’m going to rock this fucking room”—as I reclaim power.

Choruses and the bridge become stadium-sized chants, turning protest into a communal roar, demanding recognition and refusing to be silenced.

This is more than a song—it’s a rallying cry. It’s about taking back the mic when the system tries to mute us.

Artist vs. Distribution Platforms

Artists are often left with little control. Distribution companies like SoundCloud lock us behind policies—or silence us altogether. Even though they promise “tools” and “connectivity,” the truth is: when complaints pile up, we lose visibility, engagement, and trust. That imbalance is at the heart of this track—because without true access to artists, those platforms collapse into empty promises.

Even while treating artists like ghost stories, SoundCloud is financially far from broke:

It’s a song about parenting, legacy, and the quiet weight of teaching the next generation how to be better than we were. It doesn’t come from judgment—it comes from love and fear in equal measure: the love of watching kids grow in a chaotic world, and the fear of what kind of world we’re leaving behind for them.

The lyrics move through small, universal snapshots—packing lunches before sunrise, checking homework under a kitchen light, explaining to a child why people fight, why kindness still matters. Each verse feels like a letter written to a future we may never see but still believe in. The chorus opens into something larger: a promise to raise children who lead with empathy, who listen before they shout, who choose decency even when no one’s watching.

What’s scarier than heartbreak? This “Halloween hymn” is the root of my decent into darkness.

But heartbreak has a way of circling back when pride is stronger than honesty.

“Boy Beware” was written in the aftermath of a familiar betrayal — the kind that doesn’t shatter you all at once, but chips away at the last pieces of faith you had left. This time, the apology never came. The truth never showed up. Just silence, cowardice, and proof he couldn’t face.

Where Am I Today?
I can write in any genre, any language, and on any topic. I have access to any instrument and can create with any vocal style—male or female. But at my core, I am a writer, not an entertainer.
I feel timid stepping in front of a microphone—exposing myself vocally is still a challenge. There are skills to master and fears to overcome before I record my own voice or perform live. But I am comfortable behind the DJ decks.

As I navigate my place in the music industry, my goal is to split my music into three primary genres and sign with labels that align with each sound:
