After its outstanding reception following its initial release back in January, Wankelmut & Emma Louise's infectious single - 'My Head Is A Jungle' returns with a souped up package and is set to be released worldwide on 15TH September via Positiva. Heavily supported by BBC R1's Pete Tong, 'My Head Is A Jungle' was dubbed his 'Essential New Tune' back in February as well as receiving championing support from BBC R1's tastemaker Annie Mac. It comes as no surprise that the single is already platinum in Italy, top 30 in Germany (and rising) and top 5 airplay in South Africa!

Wankelmut who has mainly been deejaying in underground clubs in Berlin such as Sisyphos and MIKZ, became 'Newcomer of the Year' last year (GROOVE Magazine) and has been in high demand as both DJ and Remixer ever since. Wankelmut has a very entertaining and well crafted way of deejaying with a huge variety of styles from Deep House to Techno. Beside playing all over Europe he remixed Gossip, Jay Haze, Lukas Graham and various other underground records which established his status within the Techno House Scene. On his 24th birthday in December 2011 Wankelmut aka Jacob Dilßner uploaded his unofficial remix for Asaf Avidan's "Reckoning Song' to Soundcloud. More than one year later the now official remix has sold 1.3 Million copies on Sony/Columbia, scored over 100 Million Youtube Plays and entered the #1 spot in 8 european countries, as well as being the best-selling track on Beatport last year.

In cooperation with the talented Australian singer Emma-Louise, the duo deliver a finely tuned piece of melodic brilliance. Wankemut's faultless Tech-house production, and Emma-Louise's blissful vocals will have you instantly hooked and will be circling around your head for days to come. In addition to the supreme remix package from Gui Boratto, Kasper Bjorke and Solee, new remixes come from Friend Within, and Marc 'MK' Kinchen, who steps up to deliver one of his much loved MK edits which premiered last Friday on Pete Tong.

The restriction of vision: ‘Eyes Are Blind’. Ushered in by a deliberate beat clash, a solid but warm bass drum underlies the narrative. It entices a quickly enveloping synth which drags for the first two beats and juts for the last. An understated sequence emerges from an undergrowth of dissembled whispers, before a 2-step snare skips to the end. Vision is restricted, but purpose is not lost.
Intense study: 'Look Deep'. The track begins incessant and out of focus; a hi-hat dominates, distracting. But then comes a mendacious marching band, playing on, on, and on. And you can do nothing but adhere to its tune, following its pattern, helplessly.
Coming to: 'Awake Track'. From the deep resonance of the marching band comes light. Wooden taps, clicking snares, melodic bass. Percussion is airy. And despite a dark menace still underscoring the flow this is an emergence back into clarity.
Eyes Are Blind is a narrative on sight, moving from the submerged to the clear. But as much as it's a record about seeing, you have to listen carefully. After all, you don't want to miss anything.

Eyes Are Blind - Eyes Are Blind [BPC269]

At the center of Dadub's SA020 lie the myths of the ancient Greek goddess Demeter - her search for daughter Persephone, the drink at the Eleusinian Mysteries ceremonies in her honour, and the fungus which gave the drink its psychoactive properties. The opening track is 'Mistresses March', a thumping narrative of Demeter’s search for her abducted daughter Persephone. At the fundament lies a test of a new generation VST – ‘Diachronic’ - which is used to manage audio samples. The textures which merge during the near 12-minute march scrape and plummet, raining down upon the ominous marching band beat. This is an odyssey, unhappy and unflinching.
Based on the handmade modular synth system from Nicola Buono and Lino Monaco, the representation of ceremony drink 'Kykeon' is on one hand a flowing narrative and on the other a demonstration of intense artistic scrutiny: a perfect, unremitting thud. There is, at five minutes, a subtle key pattern, light but not impermanent under the cacophony of chaos. This is indicative of the ceaseless self-examination. Little details, significant differences.
Powered by a sound and groove generator invented by Daniele de Santis (Grün), 'Ergot Kernel' is a chemical cauldron. It’s a beat continuously emerging from the undergrowth; an imperious column rising; a train ploughing on, coursing through an arid landscape. Conversely, the atmosphere is bright, full of electricity and warmth, with moisture descending.
Dadub's SA020 is a journey through a Greek myth, with textural magnificence and technological innovation.

Continuing its ongoing theme of releasing records influenced by our vast
universe, deep space, spirit and consciousness, Meander presents The
Scorched Earth EP by Konrad Black, a selection of advanced 101 techno
infused break-beat science.
With his sparse, yet highly considered discography, Mr. Blacks first output
for Meander draws key inspiration from recent earth-bound meteorites and the
blinding light that follows. Creating precision dance music, Black conjures
the essence of the explosive meteorite, its afterglow and its sonic
resonance. The results are powerful, timeless sonic treatments for body and
soul, pressed on heavyweight 180 gram vinyl. Initial copies available with
handmade screen-print sleeves.
Together with fellow Canadian Mathew Jonson, Konrad Black founded the
influential Wagon Repair label in 2005 – A label that has had a heavy impact
on the dance community with its relentless top-quality releases including
those of Black himself. The Scorched Earth EP will be accompanied by a
follow-up record in the form of remix-interpretations by genre defining
artists from the underground electronic dance music scene.

Born and raised in Italy, Dj Red is a key figure of the Roman techno scene. Resident of the former  iconic Goa Club
,her contribution has been essential to the development of Rome’s club culture. 
Constantly travelling among Rome and Berlin over the past two decades, she has built up a unique approach to electronic music both as a producer and a performer.

When in the DJ booth, DJ Red fully deploys her eccentric and multifaceted personality. From Berghain, Tresor to Awakenings and Exit Festival,Terraforma Festival. She never fails to deeply connect with her audience. The manic perfection in selecting every single record and the commitment of her daily research makes it impossible not to be dragged by the intense, visionary techno sets.

The thriving passion for music blossoms also in her productions. Intertwining dynamic rhythms arising of electronic drums, organic tonalities and esoteric machines, DJ Red gives birth to aethereal, aqueous soundscapes that reach the very core of her listeners.
