For this premiere we look to an old German colleague of mine, @Thomas-Kress, where we will be checking out his track from an upcoming VA comp on Robotmachine Records.
 
'Robotmachine Records' was founded in 2010 by Dynamik Bass System and has since released 17 offerings ranging from . The label's goal is to expose new talents within the Electro and Technobass music scene. The label finds a great balance between retro and future. With this release we look at the 'Elektro Süd Project' which is a series started by south German Electro producers Dynamik Bass System, Supremeja, Thomas Kress, and TecRoc. This project is also meant for the support of German-specific artists. 

The track selected to premiere for @DarkScienceElectro is called 'Show Me'. Thomas Kress is a musician, producer and designer from Munich and has been producing music since the mid 90's with releases on Tropical Underground and Robotmachine Records. He uses a hardware approach to production with Digitone/Rev2 for FM synthesis and sound effects as well as Model D and Moog Mother-32 for bass sounds. The track itself was performed live and captured in Logic Pro.

CHECK OUT Special Ed's latest remix of  the vocoder dancefloor smasher"the Freak Inside"(Ed's near death experience mix)originally released on Kaleidoscope records.. 
here is a little about Ed.: Edward Saccucci, a Central Florida native, channeled his lifelong obsession/passion for music as a talented singer-songwriter in an original folk based Alternative rock band, performing frequently in southern Brevard county at places like; The Lazy Bean, the Hustler and Java the Hut in the early 90's. With local celebrity bassist Dave Clark, co- founder of Taylor Made. After moving to Orlando, Ed was later christened "Special Ed" by local talk radio upstart Drew Garabo, a nickname that stuck. Ed soon transitioned away from daily band practice in steamy warehouses to settle into a family suited life style. still desiring a musical outlet ,Ed immersed himself in the burgeoning Orlando dance music scene. before long his friend Keith Kreiner introduced him to 2 1200's, a mixer and a phat vinyl collection. soon Special Ed had tables of his own, records and not long after that he was moving crowds wherever he could find speakers and decks, around 92-94. later he made a name for himself by pioneering the groundbreaking FOUNDATION RADIO 96.9FM, underground pirate radio station in Orlando Florida. later signing to and releasing records on Kaleidoscope records, Florida's most recognizable label for dope electro and funky breaks, special ed was able to capitalize on his success, and he has enjoyed gigs all over central and north Florida. then moving to south Florida, the self titled home-of-the-motherfucking bass, and they were ill prepared for the pirate radio guru's blend of high energy electro breaks and higher energy live shows and dj sets. don't blink, or you might miss what this crowd pleasing over-the-top performer will do next; now he is living back in his childhood home of The Space Coast, Florida with the love of his life and partner-in-crime Ghost BaBy  M. Fine(real name!), and to his surprise the kids with the systems are blasting funky breaks and dance music. will special ed attempt to conquer the space coast?
2019 ed is still in recovery from a "near death experience"(a C.V.A.) now Ed has returned to music again to provide healing and self-comfort peep the uber exclusive track from his MASSIVE!  album "the Breakers Code". the track titled" "Breakdancers ready" epitomizes Ed's desire to produce dj friendly music, rooted in the older artistic expressions that made an impact on him at an early age. from the days of scoring a refrigerator box, tagging it, and blasting "Siberian Knights" through an old boom box, and trying to master the windmill until long after the street lights flickered on. to the days of special ed the family man, still passionate for music, and with something artistic left to say. please message Ed for bookings. Ed is currently performing "live" vinyl/cd dj sets and also a live P.A performance titled: "Breakdancers Ready " with additional performers(subject to availability)
