New York native Merlin Bobb—renowned DJ, producer, and music executive—is celebrated as a true pioneer of house music. His groundbreaking work continues to earn recognition, including a highly anticipated debut DJ set with Boiler Room in 2022.

Merlin’s journey began on the airwaves with his first mix show on WBLS, where he quickly became a favorite among dance music fans. Known for pushing boundaries, he constantly explored new sounds and techniques, helping to redefine the art of DJing and laying the groundwork for a storied career in music.

But Merlin’s influence extended far beyond the DJ booth. As a key executive at powerhouse labels like Atlantic and Elektra Records, he was instrumental in bringing house music into the mainstream. He also signed and collaborated with legendary artists such as Missy Elliott, Brandy, Busta Rhymes, Pharrell Williams, Timbaland, Outkast, and Dr. Dre during his tenure as senior vice president of A&R at Elektra and Atlantic.

At the same time, he championed house and dance music’s finest—working with icons like Frankie Knuckles, Timmy Regisford, Roger Sanchez, Kerri Chandler, David Morales, Louie Vega, Tony Humphries, and DJ Spinna—to produce remixes, sign new talent, and spread the sound and spirit of house music.

Merlin also left an indelible mark on New York nightlife as co-founder of Club Shelter, a cultural landmark and cornerstone of the city’s house and dance scene. Shelter’s influence continues to echo in club culture around the world.

Today, after years behind the scenes, Merlin is back DJ-ing and producing much to the delight of longtime fans and remains a vital presence in the house music movement.

DJ Tsunami

“Purveyor of deep, infectious dance grooves and a feel-good atmosphere.”

That’s how Tsunami describes himself as a DJ.  Never afraid to go too deep, his emotive musical selections are his own therapy.  Spanning over 20 years and having grown up in an era were Chicago House, Hip-Hop & Freestyle music were in its heyday, Tsunami immediately took to a dance oriented sprit. 

 However his love for other trends has forged a well-rounded & well versed with a large music library. “Simply put Tsunami loves music” & “what it does to people” Tsunami loves crowds & uses his talent to motivate a crowd no matter what the genre is, HE WILL FIND YOU & soon you will find YOURSELF on the dance floor. 

A very active member with other local DJ’s it is not uncommon to find Tsunami checking out other DJs & music venues “it can become very easy for even a good or great DJ to become stagnant” Tsunami is no stranger to the ups-and-downs of a small-town music scene.  Though he loves playing in nightclubs, patios and special events, his love for music goes beyond the spectrum of mixing tunes “For me, it’s all about mood and a deep, hypnotic groove… playing those tracks that get you tapping your feet and nodding your head without you realizing it, regardless of genre, tempo, style, or release date. “

In 2007 Tsunami met another upcoming DJ like himself,  Lou Gomez (VDJ Lou) forging a friendship & a DJ alliance that call ourselves ‘The Collective”(We are both huge “House Heads”) Lou with his soulful & progressive sound & myself with, Techno House & Deep House as a team VDJ Lou & myself are able to push our musical boundaries beyond ‘Just acceptable, we challenge each other ” music is an open ended entity we are both purveyors of Deep Top-40 Dance Remixes & Mash-Up  Remixes. In 2010 ‘the Collective” began video DJ’ing at events. The video element brings us as a collaborative to a new height with DJ trends, the latest DJ technology & audience interaction.

DJ Ace has energized the nightlife industry since the mid 80’s as a DJ, Producer, Podcaster, Owner @ AM4L Productions, and Nightclub Director of Operations.

He has held residencies in many prominent nightclubs across the State of New Jersey, from his hometown area of the north, to the summer party scene at the infamous Jersey Shore.
