Hi, I've been DJ'ng between Ontario and BC since 2004. Over this time I've held various residencies in Ontario as well as organizing and promoting events under the brand "Release"

In Vancouver,  I am a proud supporter of our local underground music scene and am actively seeking opportunities to assist with production and participation.  

My early days were rooted in early 2000's progressive house/breaks. While in the last decade my flavors have shifted towards more bass focused and syncopated styles. I am a strong proponent of sound system culture and the genres that support it.

Born in Louisiana and originally from Kansas City, MO. Now living in Chicago.  At the age of  15 I began my journey into the world of raves.  I remember going to my very first one. I had no idea  what to expect. I didn’t understand why people were dressed as they were, dancing the way they were, why the venue was dark with colorful lights and so on. Today I’m a lover of House music. It’s always playing in my car or while I’m at work. I love how it makes you wanna dance. I love house tracks with horns, pianos and what not because it’s very upbeat and has a jazz, swing type sound.  An example of what I’m talking about- I Need Sum-Tommy Largo or I Wanna Funk.  I’m here to support the music, and to listen to what DJ’s have tracks and mix sets.

Originally From "El Paraiso De America" ACAPULCO, MEXICO. He Decided To Become A DJ After Taking A Grand Interest In House Music At The Early Age Of 10. In 1990, Geovanni Relocated To The Golden State, California. Within The City Of San Diego, Where He Kicked Off His Music Career, Holding Down Residencies At Some Of San Diego's Famous Nightclubs, Such As Club Kickers (Hamburger Mary's) (Now: Urban Mo's) From 1997 To 2005. With This Success He Developed The Reputation As One Of The Most Versatile Latin DJ's Of The San Diego Scene.
 In 2004 Geovanni Venegas & Andres Mijangos Infused Together Creating A Project Called XTD Latin Underground, Recognized For DJ's All Over The UNITED STATES, MEXICO, SPAIN, CENTRAL & SOUTH AMERICA, For Its High Quality Remixes That Offers A Fusion From Dutch, Electro, Progressive, Tribal & Even That Spicy Latin Touch. 
In Becoming More Recognized, DJ Geovanni Started Producing & Remixing For Well Known Latin Artist Such As; Shakira, Don Omar, Daddy Yankee & Mana Just To Name A Few. This Is How He Exclusively Began To DJ For The Legendary Club; “The Church” In Denver, Colorado.
