I'm grateful to return with the series I started long ago Deeper Kutz. "Reflection" a mix that honors both the journey I've been on and the music that kept me grounded. This past year brought profound changes as I navigated and processed life's unexpected turns. The time away wasn't easy, but it was necessary, allowing me to reconnect with what truly matters and rediscover my passion for the music that moves us all. Throughout it all, it's been your unwavering support and endless questions about "what's next" reminded me that this community is more than just shared playlists and late-night sets, it's family. This mix is my way of saying thank you for your patience, your love, and for keeping the flame in me alive when I couldn't. I'm once again excited to be back behind the decks, deeper and more intentional than ever.

Deeper Kutz: Reflection

MattG's journey to the decks began humbly on Seattle's dance floors, where he immersed himself in the city's thriving house music community. As a devoted dancer and eager student, he spent countless nights observing the craft of local DJs while developing an instinctive feel for what resonates with crowds. This grassroots education became the cornerstone of his approach when he eventually stepped behind the booth after retuning in 2017.

With deep gratitude for the mentorship received from Seattle's generous DJ community, MattG has cultivated a distinctive sound that thoughtfully blends house, tech house, deep house, and breaks. His sets reflect not only technical proficiency but an authentic understanding of the dance floor experience, wisdom gained through years of being part of the crowd himself.

Over the past eight years, MattG has had the privilege of honing his craft through performances at local Seattle venues and Twitch streams, always with appreciation for the opportunities the community has provided. His sets are marked by infectious energy and fluid transitions, showcasing his dedication to exploring house music's evolving landscape while honoring the traditions that shaped him.

Whether energizing packed dance floors or connecting with streaming audiences worldwide, MattG brings the same genuine passion that first drew him to Seattle's house scene. He remains committed to continuous learning, approaching each performance with humility and deep respect for both the music and the vibrant community that nurtured his growth as an artist.
