Space Misheen Vol. 2: DREAMSCAPE (Ethereal Techno, Prog & Arcade Electro Psy)

Music has no definition, no boundaries, no rules 

Emmotica is an Australian mutli-genre music producer, DJ and fire performer known for pulling crowds with her primal, high-energy bass, tribal chants and driving rhythms. Emmotica doesn’t just stay behind the decks - she’ s a flow-state huntress; often dancing with the crowd and spinning fire between mixing tracks. Her sets weave through rhythmic deep house, bass house, tech house, drum and bass and everything in between. She draws elements from many cultures all around the world into a journey through music, dance and fire.

The tracks that she produces tell deep, relatable stories, and are curated with the intention to dance and perform fire. She’s released music with the Canadian label Wildfire Recordings and her tunes have been shared around Australia’s radio stations including a spotlight with Sophdexx on Sista’s of Spin in Byron Bay FM 99.9 NSW and on QLD’s 4zzz Raveyard FM 102.1.

Emmotica has played at iconic music festivals including Rabbits Eat Lettuce, Initiation Festival, Wizards of Kingston, and events with Love Camp (Jungle Love & Bohemian Beatfreaks), Misheen Productions, 8 Mile Yacht Club, the Wonky Queenslander & Native Productions.

Sometimes, it’s just her - one woman, the music, and her fire, pulling the crowd into the moment. Other times, she builds something even bigger, collaborating with aerialists, fire dancers, and other performers to create a full-scale spectacle. Whether it’s a solo act or a multi-artist experience, every set is immersive, raw and pulls a crowd from every corner of the festival. An Emmotica set is a whole experience, deeply personal and wildly expansive - best enjoyed loud and in the forest!

My sets journey through gritty basslines, and infectious beats to keep punters dancing 💃 
Hailing from the heart of the 90's Brisbane rave scene, I like to keep up the BPM, mix it up, captivating an audience with raw and unapologetic sounds.

SMISH is an Australian DJ, Performance Artist, and Event Director (Misheen Productions) known for her finesse in crafting high-energy, genre-blending sets. With a distinct flair for building tension, dynamic progressions and explosive drops, she delivers a masterfully polished sonic adventure. 

Her vast and varied musical selection enables her to traverse the realms of Psy-Trance, Brazilian Future Prog, Techno, Tech House & Bass House, with playful accents of 8-bit, Latin, acid, electro, glitch and more, creating a unique musical soundscape out of every set she delivers.

Driven by her passion and love for music and community, along with her remarkable skills in promotion and marketing, SMISH has cultivated tight-knit groups and garnered a strong following, making her a notable figure in the Australian electronic music scene. Her neurodivergent creativity and electrifying stage presence transform every show into an immersive and unforgettable musical experience.

Since her debut gig in 2021, SMISH has played at various events and festivals across Australia and Vietnam, supporting artists such as Shapeless (Brazil) and Dave Winnel (Aus). Her highlight achievements include playing at Initiation NYE Festival, Rabbits Eat Lettuce, Bohemian Beatfreaks, NYX Festival, and being booked for Splendour in the Grass 2024 (prior to its cancellation).

As of November 2022, SMISH has broken into the event space by establishing Misheen Productions, an electronic dance music event series taking South East QLD by a storm. She has successfully executed sell-out events, including her Funk Misheen and Space Misheen warehouse parties in Brisbane, along with her first festival that she directed; Sol Vibrations 2024. 
SMISH also works in close collaboration with well respected crews such as Wizards of Kingston, Lab Leaked Beats, Mystic Valley and Tempo Tribe (Vietnam).
