Alisson Alho aka Dukokar is a DJ and Producer that started his career in 2012 in the Brazilian zone of Parauapebas in the state of Pará located in northern Brazil traversed by the lower Amazon River. Infuenced by the native sounds of this Amazon region like Carimbó, Siriá, Samba, Cacete and Banguê (Amongst others) which have characteristics heavily influenced by drums and percussion. His artistic references are based on the indigenous and African cultures from the Amazon and his organic and percussive DJ sets and productions always manage to transmit this rhythmic art creating unexpected and engaging often spiritual sounds.

Alisson Alho a.k.a Dukokar é DJ e Produtor Musical, sua carreira profissional começou em 2012 na Floresta Nacional de Carajás, localizada em Paraupebas no Pará. Pela influencia dos sons da região amazônica como o Carimbó, Siriá, Samba de Cacete, Banguê e outros, que tem características sonoras bastante fortes e guiadas por tambores, sempre procurou trazer essa rítmica e arte, criando algo inesperado e envolvente.

Suas referências artísticas são baseadas na cultura indígena e africana, resgatando elementos estéticos culturais e musicais da região amazônica brasileira, chamando atenção para a organicidade da sua performance, através de elementos percussivos e sons naturais.


From a very young age, I fell in love with all types of music, mainly RnB, Hip-Hop, Soca, and reggae. Also got a taste of the Reggae music scene from going to my Dad's sound system night's around the UK, and from here I knew that reggae music is number one choice. The first reggae song that gave me the passion and drive was by listening to Smiley Culture 'Police Officer', Which got me hooked.

After leaving secondary school, I was fortunate to become a professional footballer playing for my local team Reading FC among other clubs in the South of the UK. After a 22 year football career, I followed my passion for music by playing in local bars, clubs, private functions and now stepping into the world of broadcasting at GDR. “I’m proud to be a part of the GDR family”.
