It was another beautiful Thursday morning at the trash fence deep in the playa. I kicked it off with a little sun worship and then bumped it up into disco and breaks. As we danced under a clear blue sky, we had no idea what awaited us over the next few days!

Accidentally ended up with a second set at Ashram Galactica after scheduled DJ no-showed.  The Gilded Lily was already packed from a wedding beforehand, and I switched off from double-duty DJ/Bartending to go full-on and pace the crowd to a mellower vibe leading into the night's main event.

played a handful of impromptu and playa-magical sets on axo at burning man this year, and every song on this mix brings up memories of dancing, smiling, and hugging with our axo fam, along with other friends old and new.
travel delays, extra a/v work getting the art car ready for prime time, and the crazy weather prevented me from doing much other than improvising sets full of party bangers, which seems to have resulted in some fun being had.   maybe this is a "had to be there" kinda set, maybe it's fun anywhere.  well, heeerrree we goooooo!

I'm so proud of Sonic Soul Tribe and all it brought to Burning Man this year, including our amazing crew party on Monday night.  I had so much fun playing an eclectic mix of tracks that sounded so good on the big SST sound stage. 

Thanks to my camp, all my friends who made it over, and all the beautiful people who stopped by to dance with us.  Seeing so many people dancing with smiles on their faces is always a magical moment for me. Y'all made my burn so special - thank you!
