During a trip to Miami in 2009 - when Tacuabe was barely a teenager - he had his first taste of electronic music, during the Miami Winter Music Conference. “I snuck out from the hotel where I was staying with my family in order to soak up the atmosphere of all the parties happening along the streets. It was at that moment”, he remembers "that house music became my passion and being a DJ was all I could think of.”

In just a couple of years time, Tacuabe was already adept at mixing vinyl and aged 14 years old he began to DJ at raves and high-profile fashion events in Uruguay. He quickly scored himself a residency at OVO nightclub in Punta del Este, Uruguay - probably the most demanding electronic scene in South America during the boreal summer - and began honing his craft at one of the country’s most well known clubs.

Tacuabe is known for his refined technique and his melodic progressive house storytelling musical style. Influenced by 80’s Synth Pop and Jazz music, Tacuabe’s performances shift seamlessly through genres: blending Deep House, Melodic House & Techno, Organic House and Progressive House in perfect harmony, full of groove and melodies. Whether performing during the day or at night, the ease with which he connects with the crowd always creates an epic and unique atmosphere.

Over the following years, Tacuabe’s prolific residency grew to include OVO Beach, OVO Day and OVO Night. He shared the stage with some of the world’s most renowned DJs, including Erick Morillo, Guy Gerber, Hernan Cattaneo and Kolombo. Not to mention many secret raves with names like Joseph Capriati.

In 2019 Tacuabe completed his 3 year Master Diploma in Music Production at Point Blank Music School, afterwards, he dedicated time to keep polishing his technique as a DJ and to learn more about the music industry completing the Complete DJ Performance and Music Industry Diploma at London’s Point Blank Music School. He has also begun showcasing his talents around the world, with shows in, Buenos Aires, Geneva, Londres, Los Angeles, Montevideo y Punta del Este.

After spending some time in London studying at Point Blank Music School and playing at raves, while the pandemic took place Tacuabe took a break from music. He got back at the beginning of 2022 playing at raves in Montevideo and Punta Del Este before relocating to Los Angeles.
