BIOGRAPHY

With a love for music and technology, the decision to pursue a career in electronic music was not too difficult. Applying it to a traditional society, however, was the real challenge. 

His ever-increasing urge to become a professional DJ and producer, took Uncuoglu to what was then the heart of electronic music, London. 

During the day, he studied sound engineering and production at Londonʼs Media Productions. At night, he conducted field research in Londonʼs legendary clubs.

With Alican, they have set up a label and events company 'Isolate' which features their own tracks, tracks from the hottest artists in Turkey and around the globe, and tracks by respectable artists in the dance scene.

His latest releases are from Isolate, Innervisions, Afterlife and Multinotes.

Big Bells Records proudly unveils its first release of 2025, marking a significant milestone as the label presents Strings of Sorrow, the debut EP from Budapest-based producer Yohai Mor. Slated for release in January, this collection of three tracks offers a rich sonic journey through the depths of Progressive House and the atmospheric nuances of Electronic Ambient.

Yohai Mor's distinct artistry is evident in every beat and melody of Strings of Sorrow. The EP showcases two captivating Progressive House tracks that blend pulsating rhythms with emotional undertones, paired with a contemplative Electronic Ambient piece that provides a perfect counterpoint. Together, these tracks form a cohesive narrative, inviting listeners to explore the delicate interplay of melancholy and hope.

Beyond his talents as a producer, Yohai Mor brings a wealth of experience to the world of electronic music. Formerly a journalist for Newzeek magazine, he spent two years chronicling the nightlife and electronic music scenes in Israel. In the early 2000s, Yohai co-hosted and edited a pioneering radio show dedicated entirely to electronic music, where he interviewed industry icons such as Armin Van Buuren, Tiësto, Ferry Corsten, Moshic, Sasha, Nick Warren, and Dave Seaman. This unique background lends a sense of depth and perspective to his production style, making Strings of Sorrow an essential addition to any electronic music enthusiast's collection.

With this release, Big Bells Records continues its commitment to spotlighting fresh talent and pushing the boundaries of electronic music. Strings of Sorrow is not just an EP—it's a story, an emotion, and a journey that promises to resonate deeply with listeners worldwide.
