I had the honor of DJing at Lazy Bear again this year. This is the live recording of my 6 hour set - I broke it up into two parts. Sadly I missed the hour because I thought I had hit record on my Tascam, but apparently it was paused.

Each year this event gets better and better -- 2000 sexy bears lazying about in the Redwoods.

Starting at 11am, the first half is a bit more of a built up. This half is a bit more kicking.

Producer and DJ, Bryan Hughes has been DJing for over 30 years. In 1992, with his partner DJ Jim Hopkins (Twitch Records, San Francisco) he was one of the visionaries behind the local independent labels ZoeMagik Records and sister label City of Tribes Records, bringing San Francisco to the forefront of the underground dance community.

Bryan got his big break playing New Years Eve 1993 at Product (1015 Folsom, SF). Bryan has been a regular at some of San Francisco’s most notable underground parties such as Product(SF), Sanctuary (Sound Factory, SF), Metropolis (Barneveld, SF), Palladium (Sound Factory, SF), Bump (Cat Club, SF), Score (SF), X-Men (715 Harrison, SF), Powerhouse (SF), and Sweet (Cellspace, SF). Most notably, Bryan opened for Paul Oakenfold and Mark Lewis at the Illuminaughty Camp, Burning Man 2000.

Currently, you can find him spinning at Lazy Bear (https://www.lazybearweekend.org/) as well as other various underground warehouse parties. He also played the Leather and Lace party for New Zealand Winter Pride 2018.
