Sony Synth has pulled out all the stops with this one, combining elements such as the harmonious vocal with groovy synths and even a cheeky 303 to deliver a stinker of a track😷

The latest installment in the Crosstown Rebels release schedule sees Circus club resident James Organ make a standout debut on the label. Titled Secrets, the EP welcomes Spanish mainstay Dennis Cruz as remixer of the lead track.

“It was a real moment for me when Damian picked the EP up and signed it almost straight away. It’s been a very exciting time, and I’m incredibly proud to be releasing this record as my final EP of the year.” James Organ. The original of Secrets Feat. Pablo:Rita leads the charge, as dubby, minimal-laced melodies reside atop an infectious lead bassline, with Pablo:Rita’s soothing vocals completing the enchanting nature of the track. Dennis Cruz’s remix swiftly arrives and brings with it a darker flavour, as thick kicks converge on spacious hats to form a stripped-back, late-night club cut, before the mind-bending sounds of Moons Of Gaza rounds things off with a subtle acid-twinged backbone and warming key changes.

Liverpool’s James Organ has experienced a meteoric rise ever-since his residency at Merseyside institution Circus. In recent times, the young artist has garnered acclaim through releases on labels such as Knee Deep In Sound and Sasha’s Last Night On Earth, whilst the esteemed likes of Pete Tong and Danny Howard have picked him up for regular BBC Radio 1 play. Label-head of Spanish imprint Muse, Dennis Cruz has established himself as one of contemporary house music’s leading figures with several impressive releases on the likes of Solid Grooves and Snatch records, alongside club and festival appearances at London’s Printworks, Ibiza’s Pacha and America’s Resistance to name a few.

Hailing from the Israeli capital of Tel Aviv, rising talent Adam Ten makes his debut on Rebellion this December with ​We Move​. The four-track EP includes a collaboration with fellow Tel Aviv artist Mita Gami.

Speaking on the release, Adam stated that: “​The EP is a step in my neverending exploration of dance music, as well as a step in my development as an artist. These tracks were made with clear ideas about how I want to move and feel when I'm in the middle of a dancefloor.”

Beginning with the title track ​We Move​, whispering hats converge on gentle key chimes and a groovy 4x4 bassline, before ​Mita In Reverse arrives with a minimal kick-hat backbone and echoing female hooks. Third up is ​The Queen​, produced in collaboration with fellow Israeli-talent Mita Gami, and features a stunning lyrical solo alongside punchy, dancefloor-geared percussion, whilst ​Hamakor ​brings things to a club-ready finish with echoing synth tones and driving drum patterns.

Israeli-mainstay ​Adam Ten is a leading talent in Tel Aviv’s thriving underground scene. Having cut his teeth in the capital for over ten years, appearances across the Isreali club-circuit have not gone unnoticed, with international performances swiftly stacking up across Europe, Africa and North America. Previous releases on Moscoman’s Disco Halal as well as Voltaire Recordings have springboarded his sound into the wider spotlight, a testament to his keen ear for production.

A musical purist in terms of inspiration, Charles Pierre draws from soul, funk, disco, hip-hop, r&b and many other genres to catalyse his thoughts and galvanise new works. Outside of originals and remixes, he is also building a solid rep via the medium of recycling seminal pieces of music and putting his stamp on things in the form of Charles Pierre edits - with impressive effect.

His sound is heavily influenced by groove-focused tech house, championing distinctive and memorable bass melodies combined with layers of dance-inducing percussive factors. If you were to compare his sonic signature, it has many striking similarities to that of Joey Daniel, wAFF and Marco Carola - something that becomes quickly apparent when you look at Charles’ release catalogue and the ethos behind the labels he has signed music with.

Since landing a standout release on Solid Grooves in 2017, Charles has gained the support of a plethora of industry peers including the likes of Paco Osuna, Joseph Capriati, Steve Lawler, Latmun, Solardo, Michael Bibi, PAWSA, Wade and of course Marco Carola himself.

With many of the game’s major players frequently supporting Charles, it’s no surprise that he has already graced the majority of London’s most revered venues including Ministry of Sound, Printworks, Studio 338, E1, The Steelyard and more. Outside of his UK exposure, Charles has also appeared on the White Isle, most notably in the form of a b2b2b with Michael Bibi and Franz Costa on his debut for Solid Grooves at Benimussa Park.

Charles’ impressive resume has seen him play alongside the likes of PAWSA, Reelow, Dennis Cruz, Cuartero, Hector Couto, Neverdogs, ANOTR, Detlef, Nathan Barato and many more. What he has already achieved makes a worthy accomplice to what is yet to come, with several key releases on major labels and high-profile performances in the pipeline for the not too distant future.
