Welcome to the sound of As Designed — a Drum & Bass producer from California who’s been shaping the Los Angeles underground for 10+ years. Known for deep, minimal, and industrial-inspired tracks, his sound lives at the intersection of raw energy and future-forward design.

Blending metallic textures, dystopian atmospheres, and sub-heavy rhythms, As Designed creates music that moves both the body and the mind. With roots in DIY culture and a commitment to pushing boundaries, every set, track, and remix is designed to challenge, immerse, and evolve.

Influenced by the Denver CO rave seen in the mid to late 90's, Contrast came to through break dancing and going to warehouse parties as a young teenager. Now mixing for over 2 decades in clubs from the Midwest to the west coast, he has held residencies at some of the top club nights in the country and worked along side of some of the leaders in the industry as a solo act and as part of an old Denver CO based Drum and Bass tag team (Contrast & Vortex). Over the years he has primarily been known for mixing Drum and Bass and is always paying homage to the godfathers of our musical generation of all genres, educating the new ravers as well as invigorating the old heads, by not just slamming new tunes,but curating a set where classics are just as viable as unreleased tracks and well known banger's.
