I am a DJ / occasional producer of drum 'n bass that's been in the game since 1997 (when I was 16 lol). I love all types of DnB and have a huge appreciation for the music! This page will primarily serve for me to upload the audio from my livestreams on twitch

OctaState was already experimenting with a four-track recorder and a borrowed C64 while in high school. Since the mid 1990s OctaState’s concern in electronic music genres grew up more and more - especially for the uprising Jungle/D'n'B community. 

First efforts directed him to the amazing fields of Drum and Bass. The logical result after a period of being a lonesome producer was the groundbreaking collaboration with NiceNine, founder and member of Bassda, which became a very successful live DnB group in Switzerland.

Based on these experiences, OctaState developed his production skills further. As one of the founders and members of the Swiss based DnB-crew called "Local Bass Movement / LBM" is OctaState often performing live. In the clubs he uses as a main tool his highly esteemed octatrack sampler. OctaState's live sets are unique, and so is his style.
