I had the pleasure of knowing him through DJing with him, as well as hiring him for several festivals...and of course listening and dancing to him for 20 years. This live* mix represents a treasure of old-to-nu-skool trans-Arabic motifs dropped in my set at Giza, Egypt, during the auspicious winter solstice gathering of 2012. 

It was recorded during the The Great Convergence, an amazing gathering held at the pyramids of Giza. The event was conceived by Tamer El-Shakhs and  produced by the excellent production team at The Do Lab, (thank you all!!)
