In this program in "This is not a reading / Ceci n'est pas une lecture: Remixes & Conversations from 'There is no soundtrack'", we have two artists: Scanner-Robin Rimbaud and Stephen Vitiello. They are long-time friends who decided to create a collaborative response to "There is no soundtrack", titled "The Image is the Soundtrack"(2021). This program includes the audio-only version of the work, along with a public conversation between Scanner, Vitiello, and Ma recorded on February 10, 2021. Konerytmi es uno de los productores de electro más en forma del momento, pero ojo, no lleva 4 días precisamente, su sonido es fruto de años y años de trabajo en el estudio estrujando su cerebro y todo tipo de máquinas analógicas y firmando producciones con infinidad de apodos, todo para llegar hasta ese sonido tan preciso y armonioso que lo caracteriza.
Kirill Junolainen es quien está detrás del proyecto Konerytmi. Se trata de un músico muy inquieto, muy influenciado por sonidos que van desde el Italo Disco hasta el Acid pasando por el Techno y el Electro.. Sus producciones en formato vinilo han visto la luz en sellos como Electro Music Coalition, Rawax, Intellitronic Bubble, Detriti o Wex, con otro de sus apodos JLM Werx ha editado bombas en Hilltown Disco y Zero One Music, por nombrar unos pocos…
Pero todo esto solo es la punta del iceberg que hay tras el gran Konerytmi, y de verdad que os animamos a que os sumerjáis en su universo musical. Podéis empezar por estos sellos que dirige Lasergum Records, Datarocket Records, Dvatri e Intraflex Records.
Konetymi como buen amante del sonido disco nos ha enviado un set de Italo/Synth Disco con verdaderos clásicos y todo ello en el formato amigo, el vinilo. Casi una hora de pura fantasía retro y que nos sentimos muy honrados de poder presentar en nuestro querido podcast.

Make some space under the Christmas tree for the fifth SOMEWHERE compilation and our last release of this year. Among the 12 strong contributions we'll find familiar faces & label stalwarts such as Sigward, Bas Dobbelaer and the French Laura BCR, who earlier this year released the excellent Initial-EP.

There are also some new faces on SOMEWHERE V. Among them Paul Twin, known for his psychedelic techno on the Rotterdam based label Nous'klaer. Paul's contribution 'Callisto' is a mysterious ambient track with floating strings and a slow-motion bassline. The cinematographic Molniya Trip of Vand has a similar vibe. Beautiful and intricate ambient.

SohaSo has always been a breeding pond for new electronic talents and on SOMEWHERE V that is no different. Besides the dreamy shift+ of the talented Sabine Swills and the highly theatrical Scene 2 of Utrecht based producer Rochat we'll find a third new face on this tape: Null Wave. His compilation closer Lizard Person nods to both Squarepusher and Arca and is, with Luke Abbott's remix of Andi Mullers Comedown, one of the few danceable tracks on this tape.

Introvert beauty dominates on SOMEWHERE V, which makes this compilation perfectly suited for the dark and intimate weeks ahead of us.

I was born in 74 in Valencia (Spain).
My musical journey begins in the year 87 when through the radio I start to discover the wonderful musical decade of the 80's and the beginning of electronic music giving way to one of the essential sounds of today such as New beat, Acid house, Ebm, Electro. 
The end of the 80's and the beginning of electronic music were an influence for me.

Luis ‘El capitan america’ resident DJ of one of the most emblematic clubs of the city where the youngest people went to enjoy the music (Woody Disco) also contributed a lot to my evolution. 

My professional beginnings started in 1993 working in the record shop Alliance Records located in a central neighbourhood of the city of Valencia. Through the shop I started my first gigs on behalf of the shop playing in big clubs like Industrial in Granada and the mythical discotheque ACTV in Valencia, Tropico (San Antonio).
I have collaborated with several Valencian collectives promoting events offering a more electronic and different side.

at the beginning of 2000 I started to have my first residencies in Sala Roma (Puzol) through the Shushi collective (a clothing company).

I had my residency in other venues in my city where once a week I used to have my space. 

Pub TERRA, it was there where I met Jesus CTG member and founder of the collective Minimalistik girl and where we started to collaborate together and became part of his collective.

Through the collective I had a more professional opportunity to train where I have been able to perform in several festivals organized by the collective itself and performing in various venues in my city as they were.

Also in the middle of the 2000s I started to be part of the Valencian collective Hypnotica Colectiva (HC) founded by David Verguer and Jorge Moreno.
Performing for them in their anniversaries and standard festivals such as Revelation (techno alliance) - and Happy Mondays, a session in Valencian gulf time par excellence, the nights from Sunday to Monday, remembering how mythical and important were those Sunday night sessions in Valencia in the 90s. 
Through these collectives and other agencies I have had the opportunity to perform in big venues such as Chocolate, Barraca, Jungle (NOD), Puzzle, sharing the bill with artists such as 
Ellen Allien, Sascha Funke, Pacou, Dave Tarrida, Miki Craven, Claude Vonstroke, Monoblock, John Digweed, Aubrey, Yin elek, Sound Synthesis.

And national artists like:
