ARX Fam Sessions Vol 3

Greetings Sound Stream Sessions listeners, dj's, artists and producers. We appreciate your support of the page over the years, giving us ears to listen to the music we put together and being the lifeblood of this culture we all find such enjoyment in being a part of.

I wanted to give you all something different this time as well as challenge myself to create something new, 'a bit of a break from the norm' if you will. This session started as something completely different in my head, different title, tracks, vibe etc. I put together some nice bits and pieces, using some Electronica tunes seasoned with different samples from movies, documentaries and classic hip hop but the overall vibe just wouldn't come together. Under advice from council (lol) I decided to just 'Lean in to the weirdness'. So that's what I did and this is what came out.

It's a Spacey intro featuring a rendition of Einstein drawing us in to the trip, After that Jazz and Funk vibes start us off with an abstract tone, followed by tracks ranging from dark to vibrant, atmospheric to experimental, with a different angle on mixing here, focusing more on ambient and smooth transitions, sometimes changing vibes abruptly. I know I'm taking a bit of a chance on this one but hey, that's where true creativity comes from right. 

Anyways, hope you dig it. Intended to be more of an experience than a traditional mix. Taking Inspiration and blend style from the Electronica and Hip Hop Realms.

Abstract Series_01 (Sw3rv3) 'Synthetic Rebellion'

Re:Circulation is a new mix series which will feature older tunes that either never made it onto a Body&Soul mix, or classics that did but I want to revisit and revive them by mixing them with different tracks, and also there will be a few new tunes (mostly when none of the tunes in my library will fit!). Circulation was the first Body&Soul mix, so the title seemed fitting lol. I have a good bit of tunes that just didn't fit in (it's the land of misfit tunes!) and kind of got left on the backburner, but they're great tunes, so they aren't "rejects". FYI! These mixes will also include some older tunes that were recently re-released on a comp (tunes I missed originally), or ones I just found going through back catalogues. Enjoy the mix. I am a "old skool" but flexible DJ with a long history with vinyl but  also mastered the newest technology. 
I dj & produce Drum and Bass, Breakz, Trip Hop, House or whatever bubbles out, because mainly I love music. 

In 2015 I started focusing more on production & in 2017 I got my certification as an audio engineer.
