Born in Chicago and today based in San Francisco, Ion The Prize has been producing edits, remixes and original dance tracks for 20+ years, and has been DJing out in Bay Area queer nightlife regularly since 2017, developing a confident, seductive & sex-positive blend of house, hip-hop, breakbeats & Hi-NRG dance that has earned him a reputation as the ultimate chameleon & communicator with the dancefloor. 

Ion currently can be seen DJing first Fridays at Folsom street leather bar Powerhouse and select Saturday nights at drag show nightclub Oasis as well as featured gigs at other popular SF parties throughout the year.
