Yukari Okamura is an artist who specialises in a gentle and forgiving sound. Sharing the same characteristics as her productions, her live DJ sets delve deeper into the psychedelic dimension of techno. 
In addition to being a resident DJ at Alpha Kokura Club in Fukuoka, she has also had experiences in Europe, Dubai, and South Africa.

Marco Bruno’s focus as an artist is to forge a whole from elements that are both corporeal and transcendental, to conjure up a sonic and emotional scene that is diverse, pure and free. 
His productions, which are defined more by feeling than by
genre, contain glints of Ambient, Breaks, Techno, but stand apart from specific classification. 
Milestones of his discography are records released on Blueprint Records, Machine, Symbolism, Hardgroove, Earwiggle and more. Surfing on the wave of exploration, he founded 'Evighet Records': a multidimensional platform focused on a storytelling approach by crafting sound paths through electronic music in an indefinite space-time. 
Evighet will see Marco collaborate with artists such as The Fear Ratio (James Ruskin & Mark Broom) and participate in side projects like TEDx.

The enigmatic Myles Sergé is a low flying techno producer, hard working label head and old school DJ, however he prefers the term ‘reclusive perfectionist’. Originally from Grand Rapids, Michigan, Myles experienced a temporary sojourn to the beachside of the the UK’s Brighton before relocating to Berlin. In some respects the American’s music bypasses the melodic classicalism of Detroit for a stripped-back European take on techno, though the mettlesome machine- funk of his raw style, and rough and ready prowess behind the decks, is never too far from the outer-regions of the US’ motorcity he calls home.

As a regular guest at Tresor, with no stranger to bookings at Berlin’s Berghain, Griessmuehle and ://about blank, to his residency at Steevio’s Freerotation festival in Wales, Myles is a shining example of how one can traverse the European-American transatlantic divide. With a belt of labels under his control - (MS), Re-Form, Dosed and Space - Myles has since moved on to count the likes of NYC’s Thema, The Zenker Brother’s Ilian Tape and Dan Curtin’s Metamorphic imprints as home for his music. Never one to boast, Myles Sergé Clark’s revised approach to the warehouse techno of his recent mixes and DJ sets keeps the quality underground.

We talk some of her influences, approach to DJing, social media struggles, as well as topics such a track selection, folders, and 'crunchy' techno. We do a short interview at the start after which Varuna plays for 40/45 minutes. After that we do another short talk, finishing the show with bouncing our latest favourite tracks to each other. In the tenth episode of Unnatural Versions, we are honoured to present Sahgah, one of the heads of Medellín's Metropolitan collective. This episode marks a milestone in the series, offering a set that encapsulates the purest essence of deep techno. Sahgah guides us through a soundscape where strong beats intertwine with a hypnotic atmosphere, creating a perfect balance between dynamism and introspection.

From the opening bars, the set reveals a deep connection to the roots of hypnotic techno, taking the listener into a space where energy and meditation coexist. Carefully selected atmospheric sounds add layers of thought-provoking texture, while persistent beats keep a steady pulse that won't let you switch off. Enter the world of SBS through his latest mix for SKIN, where low frequencies, irregular intensities, and rhythmic patterns are fused with glitchy atmospheres. His music style is defined by these unique elements, creating an unpredictable experience.

SBS draws inspiration from conversations with others about music, blending styles, and observing performances of artists who approach music in new ways. 

“I often envision imagined scenarios I want to convey with sounds. Or at least, try to convey. Sometimes it can be accurate or it can lead to new situations. For this set , I tried to convey sounds that resonate with a high voltage substation which operates at max capacity, moments before total system failure. I'm making it intense.”

His sets are curated with tracks that feature novel sounds, low frequencies that resonate with both mind and body, and rhythmic patterns that surprise. SBS enjoys playing tracks in unexpected ways, such as drastically altering the bpm to create a different feel, or combining music that wouldn’t typically go together. The result? An experience that makes listeners think, "What am I listening to right now?"—a blend of energy and combinations that resonate with the subconscious mind, turning introspective or absent-minded.
