ASIMA is an exploration. Aiming the universal laws it even explores itself while expanding. Courageously into the unknown, finding itself through different dynamics, builds up tension just to release it, feels multiple emotions at the same time and creates space to define itself, again, just to leave it behind. Reconstruction and comparative analysis of the Central Mexican myths that deal with the first phase of the creation of the world demonstrate that they all tell the same story. They attempt to explain how the world came to be what it is; the result of a mediation between two poles: light and darkness. Such mediation is effected by the sacrifice which, by introducing the sun and the moon, causes day and night to alternate and restores life in the hereafter. They are both necessary.

Through systematic comparison, it is possible to establish equivalences and to clarify the symbolic meaning of several elements. This comparison also shows that the Tamoanchan myth of paradise, often said to be influenced by the Bible, owes nothing to the West. Finally, one can detect connections between the myths of Central Mexico and the myths of the Mayas and the Mixtecs and, in one case, with modern Totonac, Tepechua, Popoloca, and Chontal myths; connections that argue for the unity of Mesoamerican thought.

The DJ: "I am pretty worldly, literally. Theres so many emotions you can feel where I come from, but I find them in this music from around the globe and they delight me. Then I spend more than a decade in Berlin, listening to English Break Music, had a fling with latin stuff and adore experimental rhythms and sounds and allow angels voices to kick ass. Got it?"

When I made extensively or let's say ecstatic use of music for workshops on conscious sexuality, I felt one-day certain sounds resonate strongly with certain sensations and physical activations. 

Putting even more focus on music became the next step to apply music to support exercises on self and body awareness as well as catalyze moments of hold or letting go. Then Ecstatic Dance arose at the horizon, and I got even happier.

I spread my musical focus to music from sounds from all over the world with a focus on soul, nucumbia, dance, afrolectro/afrotronics, oriental, african tribal as well as the fusion of traditional ethnic music and new musical concepts. 

To sum up what I love so much about it: moving people. Inside as well as outside.
