Antipode I, our premiere for today, is quite a journey. A 13min long track evolves throughout its entirety, never having a dull moment thanks to little details, nuances, and hypnotic sequences.

Following a series of memorable appearances on Casco’s Music Control and Bordello A Parigi, Miss Plug Inn teams up with Norwegian cosmic disco veteran Jarle Bråthen for a double dose of Italo Pop on Funnuvojere Records.

Under Neon Lights is an uplifting funk track buoyed on a surge of nostalgic synth, in which love seems to find itself again. On the B side Girls of The Night has just the right amount of hard synths to bring us back to the electro cosmic sound of the early 2000s.The hip-house vocals are the cherry on top of this delicious cake.

A chugging bass line, acoustic drums, fragments of piano house and tripped-out trance waves distinguish Budino’s remix of Under Neon Lights. Omer’s remix of Girls Of The Night conjures a Miss Plug Inn in leather attire. This is a rather uptempo remake for late night dance floors. Check out Bråthen’s Rabbagast remix for a Hi-NRG club banger.

The court looked so peaceful beneath the gaze of the floodlights. All that could be heard was the the thud, thud, thud of a ball on concrete and the metallic rattle of the chain netting which hung above. He would spend hours there at night, lost beneath the stars and the orange glow, just him and the ball. This was what coach mike had instructed him to do, to practise, to train, to perservere, to play. He wouldn't rest until he perfected the routine, it was all in the detail. That was what coach mike had said...

We have a very special guest for this weeks podcast reigning all the way from Montreal. This Coldwave/ Leftfield queen divines her style by her feverish sequences and heavy rhythms laced with some killer vocals. 
In 2014 we have come to know her here in Europe for the 'Le Mal Nécessaire' tour which just released then. Following up by expanding her sound in the dark electronic direction with the 7 inch 'Sillage & Caprice' in 2015 and the LP 'Fugitive' in 2016. Last year her love for EBM became very clear again in her collaboration EP with Sarin: 'Collision'.
This year she is touring Europe again for her new album 'Plein Nord' starting in Berlin the 11th of May so be sure to check that out when you are in the neighbourhood.
