Nessim (BE) - Innocent Clouds [Crossfade Sounds]

Luka Sambe, from Sydney, Australia, is a prominent figure in underground dance music. However, his singles, compilation appearances, and a solo easy-listening album, 'The Fundamental Transience of Everything' on Armadillo Records, showcased his remarkable skills in Electronica. His new 3-track release is a deep dive into the artist's psyche, delving into the depths of the subconscious mind.

The opening track, 'Water In A Wineglass,' is the perfect introduction, delivering drama and abstraction. Exciting elements of the structure sound like a tape played in reverse, contrasting the light-hearted melody and proving that there are no limits in the genre and that innovations in electronic music are always possible.

The second piece, 'Vincentia,' presents a larger-than-life theme, exposing modern composition with timeless components that could serve as a movie soundtrack. Unlike the compressed sound, appearing in his dance tracks, Luka opts for the full dynamic range, delivering an incredible crescendo in the third part of the arrangement.

The final piece, 'Tucked In,' provides a brilliant conclusion to this conceptually rich material, leaving thoughts to ponder while still leaving enough space for the listener to desire more.
