Matt Thornley is a DJ, former multi-instrumental member of LCD Soundsystem and current member of The Crystal Ark who originated from the UK and relocated to New York in 2005 then to California in 2013.  He produces and mixes music of his own and other artists as well as performing as a DJ.

Matt began working at DFA Records as Recording Engineer for James Murphy and Tim Goldsworthy. This led him to work on a variety of remixes and recording projects with the DFA team including assisting Murphy with 45:33, the ‘This Is Happening’ album and the Grammy nominated ‘Sound of Silver’ album.
