Im gonna level wit ya… for numerous reasons my life is significantly more busy than when I started Tangled Worlds. As much as loved putting each radio show together, it now proves impossible to find time to record anything, let alone the hours needed to produce the Tangled Worlds the way I was.

Add into the mix Threads Radio’s unexpected notice to vacate their Tottenham studio and subsequent Extended Radio Silence, and we have a big old void being filled with the relentless stream of top notch music that continues to come my way.

As such I have launched the ‘UNINTERRUPTED’ series to get right in about it, and share all these mint tunes whenever I get a chance to record a mix. Recorded live and WITHOUT the usual rambling V/O, these mixes will convey the smoking hot contents of my inbox direct to your ears, as and when possible.
(I promise Tangled Worlds will return proper eventually - hopefully this will keep the keen amongst you supplied with fresh cuts in the meantime.)

"This mix is intended to evoke the original spirit of the Artificial Intelligence series - electronic music intended for close listening, which can also cross over into a club music aesthetic. This is also my relationship with the AI compilations, I always saw them as a benchmark in electronic music which was "danceable" but also you could sit still and be immersed in it, listening loud on headphones. "Here’s the Zenker Brothers, aka Dario and Marco Zenker. A duo that consistently seem to push the fringes of contemporary club music into new realms. The two have just released their first album in five years; ‘Cosmic Transmission’. The new album traverses through sluggish dub, deep electro, fast techno and more; remaining true to the exploratory nature you can expect from a Zenker Brothers release. 

Since 2007 their label Ilian Tape has garnered a cult following from techno lovers from across the globe. Though the two don’t seem too fussed about that though, the label bio reads ‘We don't care about the hype, we just do what we love!’

They’re bringing that carefree energy this week on Mix Up, expect hefty breaks, deep electro and some freaky bass business. Check it out!"
