Pigon - Promises

Audiofly return to their beloved Supernature after a hiatus of over two years following their last EP on Get physical. With a hectic worldwide touring schedule and the completion of their debut Flying Circus Ibiza residency @ Sankeys, studio time was scarce for the boys.  In the few weeks they had back home in Barcelona, Anthony and Luca put their heart and soul into the creation of the Excuse My Wilderness EP. A process that took over 6 months to complete. I made this song to inspire people that struggle to find who they are as a person. As a child I went from foster home to foster and know one took care of me so I had to take care of myself most of my life. I grew up with no family to love me to  so I had to find who I was along the long journey that I had to endure throughout my childhood. I want to make music to inspire people Just as Avicii once did. Auntie Flo’s Highlife imprint drops the second remix EP of tracks from the Glasgow producer’s 2015 album ‘Theory Of Flo’ today (Friday 28th October), in collaboration with the Huntleys + Palmers label. We’ve got the exclusive play of Auntie Flo’s own rework of ‘Su La’ from it above.

Having been shortlisted for the Scottish Album of the Year award last year, Highlife and Huntleys + Palmers follow up ‘Theory of Flo’ with some stellar remixes from friends and associates of the labels, including Mark E and Africaine 808.

Auntie Flo, real name Brian d’Souza, works the album opener into a cut primed for the dancefloor, complete with a huge breakdown and chopped vocals samples of Shingai taken from the original.

After REBOLLEDO’s successful debut album SUPER VATO (CÓMEME CD LP 01) from two thousand eleven, his highly praised mix CD MOMENTO DRIVE (KOMPAKT CD 117) from two thousand fourteen, and all-around mayhem during his adventures as one half of the Pachanga Boys, Xalapa's finest returns with his second solo album MONDO ALTERADO: a recollection of moments and experiences from recent years, colorful mnemonics encompassing the brightest and the darkest. The result is a kind of soundtrack for a movie that doesn't exist, a sonic journey designed like a mixtape that faithfully reflects Rebolledo's background as DJ and producer. Nine tracks connect for one overarching narrative, sharing elements, motives, details, as they blend together. The artist's signature can be found all over the place, roaming between straight, rock-drenched drumming, sinister atmospheres, raw synth textures, exciting peaks and foggy bottoms - but always following the kinetic flow and relentless drive which are such a big part of Rebolledo's compelling charme.
