Along with Borai, Denham Audio and LMajor, Mani Festo is one of the artists heading up the ever-exciting Club Glow label, an imprint dedicated to showing the best sounds of rave revivalism and ’90s warehouse madness. Mani Festo’s four-track ‘All Night’ is their first-ever vinyl release, following a string of heatedly-received tape cassette drops. Constructed around a popular vocal that you’ll no doubt be familiar with, EP cut ‘Cheatin’ was written around 2015, Mani Festo explains. “It was one of those tracks that came together really fast, pretty simply messed around with the vocal and jammed a bassline under it.” It enjoyed a lot of support from the Swamp 81 crew – a staple in sets from DJs like Loefah “before disappearing to the depths of my hard drive,” he continues. “I always wanted to put it out but over the years everything seemed to fall through. Now we have built the Club Glow label we are in a position to do it ourselves, which is an amazing feeling! We all agreed that ‘Cheatin’ should undoubtedly be 001 as it’s such a ‘lost dub’!” This recording from a Loefah and Chunky set from Birmingham in 2016 will give a sense of ‘Cheatin”s dancefloor capital, and you can spin it in full for the first time now.

Following his debut outing on our most recent compilation, Delay Grounds is back with three bass heavy submissions, each bubbling with effervescent melodies that twist and transform into the imitation of their phonetic namesakes. 

On the A-side, Coruscant builds and modulates with glitching rhythms and glittering synths, leading us onto the storming tantrum of Stompy; both tracks demonstrating the innovative intricacy we’ve come to expect from this burgeoning producer.
 
On the flip, Clatter’s playful yet introspective trajectory completes Delays Grounds’ solo excursion with fellow newcomer, Suze tapping the brakes in their explosive “Heeley Mix” to round off the EP.

Onomatopoeia's inviting digital landscape offers us an uplifting, yet ponderous escape during these times of uncertainty and change.

There was a noise, it had started with a bang but now it was a relentless clatter which rattled deep within the engine as it roared. Careering along the freeway with the wind in his hair he looked out upon the sandy desert as the sun went down in the distance. He was racing quickly against time, he had to get there before nightfall otherwise heaven only knows what might happen. He pressed his foot down harder on the accelerator and the clatter grew louder and louder beneath. 

Delay Grounds is set to release a new EP on Bristol based record label Pressure Dome, an imprint which is growing in prominence from strength to strength. The record also features a remix from Suze.
