The Portuguese talent signs a beautifully crafted release, combining all his skills for a myriad of aural sensations in 4 formidable tracks. Alican is the perfect guest to put the finishing touch with a high-flying remix.

"Portraits" leads the way. With a surgeon's subtlety, Jepe delights us with his most sensual side. A waste of elegant and warm sounds, accompanied by a masterful Vars who with his voice enhances the beauty of a track for fine ears. Activate your senses, Jepe is in the house.

"Wutzsee" is the second track of this story. Once you've warmed up, it's time to tighten the screws. Showing his versatility, the Portuguese virtuoso changes his jacket to show us another of his facets. A rhythm marked with a melody that advances stealthily towards the abyss. Jepe - Shady Arcade (Original Mix) [SURRREALISM]

This set is very special for me. Here is why.
The first time I heard The Junkies & Carlo Lio - Last Days (Eric Prydz Intro edit) was probably 2010. Later I had the privilege to listen to it live. I remember the reaction of the crowd, the smiles, pure joy when that melodic intro turned to filthy techno. I remember hugging a total stranger. It was one of those memories. I started listening to electronic music around 1995. Back then Richie Hawtin was amongst my favourite dj’s. (Still is, cause he is a legend). His “Plastikman Mixmag Live! Volume 20 (1995)” was probably the first set I was totally in love it. Till today, probably have listened to it at least 1000 times. A timeless set. That is why the opening two songs of that legendary set (Lausen - Dry Ray, G-Man - Quo Vadis) are my second and third song of the set. Fourth song is in my opinion a very underrated but a perfect song (Bmbmnd - Coordination). After this 20 mins, it was time to go back to my normal dark, emotional melodic techno style with strong kicks. I looked for a suitable song for quite a while. Then I remember Charlotte de Witte playing Third Wife - Easy which is actually 139 bpm. I played it at 126 bpm which gave me the feeling I was looking for. I wanted to share these. Because while doing this I enjoyed a lot and it brought back a lot of good memories with it. Hope you enjoy it as well.

A fresh face in the electronic music scene, Mike Harkins has started making waves during last year, receiving continuous support from none other than Hernan Cattaneo with numerous features in the selections of the iconic El Maestro.

Fuelled by the energy of countless smiles and furious dancefloor reactions collected weekend after weekend, Mike now steps confidently into the spotlight with his debut EP—a well-deserved moment to share his sonic identity with the wider electronic music community.
The journey begins with the title track, ‘Strato’—a groove-heavy roller driven by low-slung beats and a rubbery bassline. Subtle stabs and lush, reverberated vocal textures weave through the mix, crafting a hypnotic atmosphere that’s tailored for late-night vibes.
Next up, ‘Fever Dream’ takes hold. An altogether deeper affair, its Latin American feels are hard to resist. Silky smooth hypnotic vibes abound as ethereal vocals and razor sharp sonics juxtapose with gleeful intent.
Closing the EP, ‘Carbon’ takes things into cinematic territory. Airy, Bladerunner-esque pads set a mysterious tone, while arpeggiated hooks build tension, priming the floor for a proper energy blow.

A pair of aces is ready to hit the dancefloors with another brilliant collaboration.

Known intimately for their solo careers, Quivver and Dave Seaman are UK house pioneers who forged their sound on the lush, fertile dance floors of the early '90s. Together, they've taken the world by storm with two incredible mixes for the highly regarded Balance Music imprint. Teaming up in late 2023 for 'Not This Time' on Poker Flat, they are now signed to some well respected labels, including Selador and Warung.

Concieved in the sunny Midlands town of Nuneaton early this year the aptly named 'Cowbells of Nuneaton' kicks off in fine fashion. Bouncy tribal beats, scratchy effects, and a liquid cool bassline give way to a funky cowbell hook and ethereal vocal adlibs. Squelchy acid at the drop hits like a nuclear strike.

'The Promise' takes things much deeper. Whispered voices and sparse tribal drums intensify with airy sonics and panned melodies that draw you in. Reserved and classically sounding, it's a warm, melancholy blanket of audio joy.

Dilby makes his full debut on Sudbeat with a solid double-header. 

Hailing from New Zealand, Berlin-based DJ and Producer, Dilby has taken the world by storm. A slew of releases on high profile labels such as Bondage, 8Bit and Selador has cemented his place in the deep house/progressive scene with a sound that straddles both with bags of personality and funk. 

Opening with 'Lost Horizon', that trademark warm, smooth sound is evident from the first bar. Building energy in the first section, snappy percussive layers join icy pads, dramatic sweeps and groovy keys. Powering forward in the midsection, the main break is a work of genius, dropping out layers but maintaining all the energy and punch. Brilliant. 

On the flipside, 'Lost' takes a deeper path.Rubbery bass, shuffling hats and bags of audio candy keep things interesting in the early stages, then the groove takes over for a late night stomp! Bladerunner-esque in its sound design, this is a serious slice of contemporary house music that will annihilate the dancefloor when dropped at the right time.

The pressing is a deluxe 180g 45RPM disc on a dark red color variant with black marbling, placed in an artwork printed inner sleeve and vinyl jacket. Northern Cold finally delivers his first-ever collab track with the release. Teaming up with IN_DUAL, the pair created ultra heavy 'Flux' -- which expertly blends schranz, acid, and hard trance.
