ABOUT THE MIX:
This is the 6th Happy & melodic themed speedcore mix I have uploaded (not including my first MP3 themed speedcore mix - "Welcome To My World"). Probably because of the effort I put into the mixing in this set I was convinced until some time after completion that this was a "Crystal Gems" beater and would soon become my favourite mix. However this was not to be. I think the mix is great, maybe even top 5, but over time it slipped down my personal rankings a little. I'm not even sure why exactly (though I'll go into this in detail in a bit and probably figure it out), the tracks are awesome and once again I would not change a thing about the mixing. I guess even tracks I rate a ten out of ten still can't compete with some of the hundred out of ten scoring tracks in the Crystal Gems mix. 
That all being said there is still some really amazing stuff in this mix. "Rave-O-Lution" makes for a perfect opener. Kurara, Pento and Kobaryo all live up to the high standards they have set for themselves from tracks in previous mixes.
Thematically I suppose it's a bit all over the place veering back and forth from serious revolutionary "Fight for the Core" style tracks into the occasional love song (or sex song maybe a better description for some tracks). Not as much funny or mad stuff as in the previous mixes though (to my ears at least) despite the hard working cheese bearing efforts of Srav3R's  "After Ascension" or the fart filled breakdown of "Yukyu no Shit" (which in hindsight, sounds like a fair request - from now on I'll only leave the absolutely essential farts in TRP songs :) Speaking of TRP,  Space Train Riot is OK, but indicative of the mix in general in the sense that it's not really funny anywhere which is probably where this mix failed where some others have succeeded in my opinion.
VIP/MVP:
Round Wave Crusher. Just before this mix as part of an Xmas MP3 buying binge I brought everything from their album selection (with a nice discount) so they have a bunch of awesome tracks in this mix, though I did not get far through their collection of tracks before I had way more than enough choices for this mix.

For my mixes, especially the newer ones I enjoy the art of blending two records together for as long as possible with no mistakes/clashes (at least that's the general idea). I have practised this technique for around 20 years and find a lot of enjoyment creating a new thing out of two existing things in the process.  I probably even hold a world record somewhere for longest time spent blending records together in a mix, I'd be surprised to hear of anyone else doing the same thing to the same level anyway (though if you know of anyone let me know, especially if they play Hardcore).
I like Hardcore in all it's diverse styles, from the Old Skool Rave (Dutch or UK) to the most contemporary Hardcore Techno, Breakcore, even Happy Hardcore (especially if it's fast) but my preferred style would have to be Speedcore.
