Hope you enjoy it! A few spots where the rca on one deck playing up but the few occasions it occurs it's not too harsh on the ears I hope! :-)

A 3 part series of 100 Minute mixes released by Nik Fish in 1994. This one captures the RAVE sound of Sydney in that time period. Not much better than hearing where Nik came from, already a formidable DJ legend even then, Nik is one that has seen it all.. great to hear him spinning faster Rave stuff here. Enjoy!

In honour of Paul, I have uploaded to public domain, Paul's final recorded mix CD. 

Paul recorded this mix in my studio early Feb 2016 as a promo CD for the Jack The House 2 party which he was the core resident at and he had much input into the club night's direction. 

The cd was pressed up and 50 copies were given away free to early bird ticket holders on the night.

Hear the passion and joy Paul brought to the decks in this hip-house/acid house mix, playing records from his 1988-1992 collection. 

Jack The House will continue on May 20th - I know Paul wouldn't want it any other way.
Rest in peace Paul, let your music play forever.... on and on.

DJ Thief is a legendary DJ from Brisbane who knows how to work 3 decks and this is one of his early gems with lots of 1992 breakbeat and hardcore, chopped in and out as he mixes up a storm - seminal classic!

It was the summer of '95. The rave scene in Sydney was at a peak as was the music. The DJ is Nik Fish, A leader of the scene in Sydney & this is his sound from that era.

DJ SHADE

A DJ since 1989 throughout clubs and acid house/dance parties first in hometown Newcastle, Australia from 1989 to about 1994 then relocated to Sydney & continued to play through to the present day at an endless number of raves, dance parties, clubs & corporate/private functions/events.

Reached the finals of the 1990 NSW DMC  DJ competition with less than 2 yrs experience on the decks and was billed to play at acid house/dance parties after just 1 year on the decks then earned residency as an all night DJ in Newcastle's 2 major dance clubs at the time The Castle Tavern & Leroys Bar within 2 yrs of starting on the decks.

With a unique style of precision beat mixing, cutting, scratching, sampling and tricks to get the crowd pumped and keep the music pumping with loads of cuts, scratches and some old skool sounds and samples thrown in to spice up the mix adding a whole new spin to the tunes playing.

You will find mixes here of various styles/genres as have always been quite versatile with the music I play, playing numerous styles/genres depending on the style/theme of the event or venue.
