Lorelei (Laura Vicinanza) is a Chicago-based DJ, Producer, and Record Store Employee. Originally from Metro Atlanta, Laura began DJing in 2014 when she joined Ann Arbor’s Michigan Electronic Music Collective. She quickly became a resident DJ around the student co-ops and at local venues in Ann Arbor and Detroit. She joined Ann Arbor's 88.3 FM WCBN as a freeform radio DJ and on the long-running Crush Collision program rotation. Laura moved to Chicago in 2019, where she has worked at Wild Prairie Records and currently works at Gramaphone Records. Laura has played events such as Kudzu in Atlanta, Research and Development in Chicago, Interdimensional Transmissions in Detroit, and many more.

Avenue Red proudly welcomes Owain K, the Bristol don of all things deep and co-label boss of Innate (alongside Tom Gilbert). Owain recently played at our Avenue Red event held at The Loco Klub in Bristol in March 2023, which turned into an incredible 4-hour B2B session with Avenue Red frontman Alec Pritchard. It was recorded and released as part of our Live Sessions series (link below) and the response to this collaboration was very positive!

Owain's first studio mix for our main podcast series is as masterful as it is long overdue... it's a seamless, perfectly paced blend of trippy, melodic, grooving deep house & techno. Get it on!

Welcome back to the December edition of the Gated podcast!
We're super happy to welcome Feryne this month, with a delicious set of varied tunes from the electro/acid/idm/techno realms.
A self-admitted music freak, Feryne has mixed her fave electro, idm and techno tracks since 2005. She's played at the many clubs and festivals of Hungary (Kontra, Wndrlnd, Corvintető, Müszi, Kuplung, R33, Egál, S.U.N festival, Ozora ect...) and other countries, like Germany, Croatia, Slovakia, Austria, Romania, France and of course the Netherlands (Drift Festival, Het Nest Festival, ADE etc).
She is currently based in Nijmegen (NL) and is also a resident DJ at
Nijmegen’s very own Open Source Radio.

We also have some new bits to start from Gated and a class release from Featherstone too from his recent EP for the Ernest's way label.

Cosima Opartan, a former architect who gave up planning for a concoction of ideological and practical reasons, is now a part of collectives that deal with music, performance and sometimes nothing. 

Assumed multiple musical identities, as half of Raze de Soare, a duo that is interested in exploring the sound of outernational minimal restaurant music, as von Bülove, an alias involved in digging out affectively filtered musical gems and rendering them to various audiences and more recently as Cosima, #widowpop singer. Really interested in working with images, the surface or appearance of things, as a subversive way to address questions.
