About the CD:
Another CD to be added to the classic series. Again coming from the most excellent mix mag series. This one features Danny Rampling, who played a massive part in my house education thanks to not only the seminal 'Love Groove Dance Party' show on Radio 1 (Saturday nights) but also his quintessential British and Balearic style of house. You were indeed... my favourite UK dj for a good few years. Both mixes have a vibe which feels fresh and original but still high on energy and get pretty full on pretty quick. Kind of latin, kind of techno... it's a great 2 mixes here which may have flew under many people's radar. Enjoy.

About the CD:
An absolutely epic house CD released in 1996 by the fine folks at MOS. This one was actually a swap with a certain ginger friend for something else (hope he doesn't ask for it back) although it was swapped for something good so maybe it's not a bad thing. This Frankie Knuckles mix features some incredible tracks including all time favourites Ken Lou - The Bounce, Lil Mo Yin Yang - Reach, X Press 2 - The Sound and many many more. It is indeed, a banger.

So another Mixmag Live! cd here, but there was a massive gap of anything rave related in the series so it's time to fix that. With non other than the first ever Mixmag cd... 01 (funnily enough). It rolls through Cox's mix of hardcore, or what I'd simply call early rave music via the epic "Atomic Matter" and "I want you forever". Dave Seaman's mix continues the 90's warehouse flavour with a pitched down selection. "Brass Disc" is a stand out along side "I'm Coming Hardcore" and "You Keep The Love". All in all... a ravetastic CD!

So the truth is we actually uploaded this by accident instead of Sasha's GU009 San Francisco disc... but as it got so many plays we thought it only fair to get it back up asap. The album cover, Space Ibiza sponsorship and epic Ibiza setting for the Global Underground series felt like it had come home when this release came out. The stars were aligned, everyone was buying it, and everyone was still mesmerised by Sasha's sound unlike any other dj in the world. It was magical, dreamy, dark and epic. Listening back to it makes you want to be 19 and on a plane to Ibiza... enjoy the mix. x

This disc really was the soundtrack of my pre 'proper clubbing' days trying to get into the bars and clubs of Sunderland City Centre. This CD features some absolute bangers like Tony Di Bart's 'The Real Thing', Hard Drive's legendary 'Deep Inside', Felix's 'Don't You Want Me", Sub Sub's "Ain't No Love" and well... the list really does go on, and on, and on, and on. Brendan spins nightclubs and events for fashion brands, media outlets & private functions. His clients include NBC, ESPN, Glamour & other companies in New York City, The Hamptons, Los Angeles, Las Vegas, Chicago, San Francisco & New Orleans. He creates a unique atmosphere by blending various genres: Funk, Disco, Hip Hop, House, Rock, R&B, Soul & more from all decades are in his repertoire.

A native New Yorker, Brendan is the youngest of five children. His family greatly influenced his diverse music taste & passion for the arts. In 1998, he bought turntables & compiled an impressive vinyl collection by digging for records everywhere. Being self-taught, Brendan spent countless hours perfecting his craft & developing a unique style.
