Omen (Live - World's On Fire)

The last time we spoke to T.Williams he was undergoing a somewhat personal transition as he moved from his grime and bass-focused output to a more house-led sound. Bringing the shift into operation as he joined Eats Everything in the booth back in May last year, T has since come into his own dropping an upstanding EP on powerhouse PMR Records (home to Jesse Ware, Julio Bashmore and Disclosure) as well as completing a 12 date, headline tour across North America and holding down a residency at BBC Radio 1. In truth, the reason behind some producers' success at straddling the change in trends is debatable at best but with T, we've no doubt his talent stems from his long-serving part in the underground scene.

Recorded in New York City, T demonstrates the sonic roots of his ethos with this new and exclusive mix, giving us and readers a little taster of what's to come when he joins Redlight, Moxie and more in Room One later this month.

Due out Nov 10th on Scenery, the former M>O>S man’s "Millennium 2.2" has been falcon punching dancefloors for some time now; a knotty number with all the requisites to do the witching hour business: bouncy percussion, a snaggletoothed synth line and spectral pads. This one's a no-brainer for fans of the kind of spectral house pedalled by the likes of Legowelt, Aroy Dee and Innershades.

Our special guest on this week’s Cadenza Music Source to Cycle podcast is Francesco Bergomi.  

The Italian producer is now based in Barcelona, and has been plying his trade for some time now, playing live and producing some very tasty techno and minimal electronic sounds. Francesco has released music for Dubfire’s Sci-Tec Digital label, Deeperfect, Phobiq Recordings and the cutting edge Italian label, Memento.

Francesco has been performing live recently at Off Sonar, Cocorico and Barn Club in Italy, plus appearances at seminal Frankfurt club U60311.  Look out for a new EP on Minibus with a remix from Cadenza’s Ernesto Ferreyra.

Francesco has delivered a special live set Cycle mix including some unreleased tracks played here exclusively for the first time.
