What is Intelligent House you ask? It is sample based House music that expresses a point of view; political, or otherwise. I am a Marine Vet. It pains me to see what is happening in Afghanistan. My old unit is there right now, making a difference, trying to help. There will always be a little part of me that wants to be out there with them. No matter how old I get. 

Those that do not learn history are doomed to repeat. We forgot how bad Vietnam really was, and now, we pay for said lesson again. 

This song is born from pain. The pain my father and uncle knew as Vietnam Vets. The pain I know I suffer as a Bosnia, Somalia, and Haiti vet, and the pain I know that will haunt anyone that served in Afghanistan or Iraq. 

My Fellow Warriors, know that it is not your failure. You failed NOTHING in doing your duty. It was the politicians that failed you. It was they that sent you to these places without a clear mission. 

Do not hate your nation or others for that. Hold these political figures responsible. It is a democracy. We have a voice. Vote out the bad warmongers, and elect new leaders that will get it right the next time. 

You served to make this is a better nation and world. Do so. Stay engaged. Vote, make your voice heard. Make....a difference. Now and forever. Especially for the ones.......that cant.

I want to say up front. This is a an all vinyl mix set that I made back in 2004. I had like a really cheap mixer, no software to speak of, and I am pretty sure one of the channels was cutting in and out during the set. The sound quality compared to today's standards really is NOT all that good. But even with all that, it is some of the best work I have ever made, and it was fun times making it. I think that shows in the work. The introduction is by none other than President John F. Kennedy. The famous "Bear any burden" Speech. Enjoy.

There no words that can describe the feelings I have about what is happening in Ukraine. War is hell. War is at best barbarism. This song is a tribute to the bravest people I have ever seen. The commitment to their nation and to each other as a people. Is something we can all learn from. I pray that this war ends. I pray that the people or person that started it. Gets what he or they deserve. For the children of Ukraine. For the children of the world. May they know peace. May we ALL know peace.
