Born in 1996 in Buenos Aires, Uciel began his DJ career in 2021, performing at clubs and events across Argentina, and has also taken the stage at Brazil’s 303 Stage Festival, alongside top names in the Psytrance scene.

Uciel’s new compilation brings together several Maharetta artists, as well as exciting new talents from the scene. Known for his unique blend of Full-On, Progressive, and Twilight Psytrance, his smooth mixes and powerful grooves promise a journey through the galaxy with these dream makers. My livestream set for the Psychedelic Virtual Gathering sponsored by Puzzle Effect on Facebook on April 12, 2020. 

This retro set features longtime favourites - all released tracks, barring one slightly different alternate mix - largely from the 1994-97 period, key tracks and atmospheres that remind me of my earliest experiences with this music. 

There's a glitch at one mixing point but I am keeping the full recording 'as is' as a reflection of how things evolved over the course of the live online event.

A new mix, specially made because of reaching 3000 "likes" on facebook with my Anoebis page :) I am happy to see, after ten years of Suntrip, goa-trance is still alive... And in this mix I wanted to showcase the new generation of goa-trance! I don't like the words old and new school... I just like goa-trance! :) Who cares if it is 96 or 2013? (that why I chose the title), I care about good music :)

DJ Solitare is Mark Ainley, a psychedelic trance DJ representing both the Italian retro label DAT Universe (formerly DAT Records) and the legendary Tsuyoshi Suzuki's label Matsuri Digital. A classically-trained musician still working in the classical industry, Mark has been active in the psy scene since 1994 and has evolved a mixing style that fuses the formative sounds of the psychedelic trance movement with the latest productions, a blend of old and new, to create a fresh present-time dancefloor experience.
