Wow, I want to Thank You guys so much for all of your support for 2021. You guys listened to my YouTube channel over 1.2 million times this year from every corner of the globe. I like many of you had a couple of challenges this year but as we know, Music continues to be a "safe space" and an incredible sanctuary.  This is my last mix of the year and I guess its fitting that its a Vinyl Sessions set. As you can see vinyl has me totally "Hooked" like I was when I first started playing records growing up in Detroit in the early 80's. This is my 8th "VS" mix this year, (LOL) that's a lot of wax but I wouldn't trade it for the world. Vol. 13 starts out with an all time classic "You Used to Hold Me" by Chicago legend: Ralphi Rosario, brought back to life on 7" by Kai Alce and DJ Spinna. (Whew) There are also bangers from Monique Bingham, Louie Vega and a couple from Peven Everett to name a few and I ended it with some "Life Music" from my homie Gari Romalis. This mix was so fun to make and I really hope you guys enjoy it makes you smile. Ok enough is enough, Let's Dance!!!

This is my first mix of 2022 and of course its a Vinyl Session. As you guys can tell, I'm addicted to the vinyl all over again (LOL). "VS14" starts off with two of my all time favorites and two songs that truly convey a positive message that we can take with us throughout the year. "In Time" reminds us that all things are working together for our good. And "Days Like This" simply reminds us to really appreciate each and every day that we are given. It was 1980 in Detroit Michigan where I first fell in Love with this Music. I was 13 years old and the Music of Choice for Me and my Friends was Progressive Dance Music. We didn't know it at the time but We were actually creating a Musical Lifestyle of sorts that would follow many of us the rest of our lives.

Sure there would be periods when no music was bought and no new mixes were produced, but time would go by and before you knew it This Music Thing would just Grab hold to Me again...

In 2012 My Musical Journey started again! This dance music would prompt me to start mixing on the web via my YouTube Channel with over 45K followers, and Soundcloud with over 5K and counting... This music would even take me around the U.S and as far away as Beijing China to DJ (Twice). I'm  really excited now more than ever because I am are currently living in Miami and DJing at my residency at N'Namdi Contemporary Gallery.
