Since moving to Miami a little over a year ago, I've found myself listening to tons of Latin Jazz (i.e. "Afro-Cuban" and "Afro-Brazilian" Jazz). Whether I'm hearing that Jazz live or via my new favorite radio station 88.9 WDNA (Public Radio Miami) that Latin Sound seems to always be near me. This Mix "El Baile" is a definite reflection of that South American/Cuban sound with some good 'ole African Rhythms sprinkled in for good measure. Some standout tracks on this High Energy mix include: "Africana" by Corvino Traxx, "Saxo Drama" by Boza and The Smooth "Guanile" by Johnny Fiasco. So grab a nice Cuban Cigar, some smooth Rum, and let's get ready to Dance!!!

When I think about the great Stevie Wonder, two words immediately come to mind: "Musical Genius!" Stevie's talent for playing, writing, singing and just always being in tune to what's going on with the social climate of the world; has always put Stevie in the highest of categories for any performer of any genre. Stevie Wonder has a massive catalogue of music with hundreds of masterful tunes, so narrowing them down for this playlist was extremely difficult. I was fortunate to find some incredible remixes by: Timmy Regisford & Quentin Harris, DJ Yare, and Jihad Muhammad (Bang The Drum) just to name a few. So this set should be an "Earful" for any True Stevie Fan or just a lover of Good Music. Stevie Wonder, We Salute You! In 2012 I created my very first all Gospel House Mix "Grateful" and put it on Youtube. Since that time I've gotten some really great reviews and some very inspirational comments so as this mix becomes my fourth DJ Set to reach the 100,000 Plays plateau on YouTube I decided to finally release this here on The Cloud!

Since going to Church with My Grandmother as a little boy, I have always always always loved Gospel Music. It seemed the bigger the Choir the more on the edge os my seat I sat. Later in life I started noticing The Organ Player and the rest of the Band, but early on it was All About that Choir! I've been gathering songs for this Mix for a long time but I never quite got the right combination, until now, I Finally think I've gotten the right Mix of Music to create "That Perfect Vibe." I found a great choir piece that I use as the intro by and the 'outro' by The Florida A&M Gospel Choir (Let Everything that Has Breath), there are also cuts from The Jasper Street Co., Michelle Weeks & Dawn Tallman, and House legends Robert Owens and DJ Spen to name a few...

It was 1980 in Detroit Michigan where I first fell in Love with this Music. I was 13 years old and the Music of Choice for Me and my Friends was Progressive Dance Music. We didn't know it at the time but We were actually creating a Musical Lifestyle of sorts that would follow many of us the rest of our lives.

Sure there would be periods when no music was bought and no new mixes were produced, but time would go by and before you knew it This Music Thing would just Grab hold to Me again...

In 2012 My Musical Journey started again! This dance music would prompt me to start mixing on the web via my YouTube Channel with over 45K followers, and Soundcloud with over 5K and counting... This music would even take me around the U.S and as far away as Beijing China to DJ (Twice). I'm  really excited now more than ever because I am are currently living in Miami and DJing at my residency at N'Namdi Contemporary Gallery.
