Making mixes like this are a huge reason why after over 40 years I still do this DJ thing. I mean there are some songs in this set that are so very near and dear to my heart and the vibe I tried to create is totally positive and uplifting. One of my favorite young inspirational singers, Aaron K. Gray leads us off with his brand new gem: "Celebrate Your Life." Then the super talented, Angel-A and Russoul remind us to always live our best lives with their banger: "Your Best Life." And last but certainly not least, if you can get to the last song in this mix: "Live Your Life for Today" by Elements Of Life. Maaaaan let me tell you, I shed  tears of joy while playing this now classic. It's been nearly a year since my last "Vinyl Sessions" mix. Although I didn't get a chance to make it out to Record Store Day here in Miami the other day, I was able to play some vinyl records in the lab and I totally got inspired. The thing I like most about playing vinyl is that it's just so much fun and so very organic. Even with all of the cracks, the skips and the pops and all and don't mention the higher cost of vinyl and then trying to record video. (LOL) So many moving parts but I wouldn't give it up for anything. And to top it off you guys really seem to like seeing and hearing the "VS" sets and seeing how they are put together. It's truly a labor of love! Enjoy...

I woke up early this morning with the some beautiful sun rays burning through my window and immediately thought of the first song in this mix "The Love Project" by Vick Lavender and my "Sister in Music" Ms. Agel-A. This tune has been one of my favorite songs since first hearing it back in 2020 and I decided to play it this morning, and eded up pulling out some other newer tunes and before I knew it "VS20" was up and running. This one is only an hour long but it has some 'Bangers' on it for sure... Enjoy The Music!!!

Soulful House Session July 2015

DJ since the early´s 80´s, I start DJing in bars (No Sense) then in Clubs (Resident DJ at Lux and KoolKat) and also hosting some Radio shows..
After 10 years, stopped mixing professionally. 
Influenced by the harmonic sound, beat and groove of Jazz, Soul, Funk and Disco music since very young.
Nowadays House Music is my preference but never forgetting that (old) sound that influenced all those new ones.

It was 1980 in Detroit Michigan where I first fell in Love with this Music. I was 13 years old and the Music of Choice for Me and my Friends was Progressive Dance Music. We didn't know it at the time but We were actually creating a Musical Lifestyle of sorts that would follow many of us the rest of our lives.

Sure there would be periods when no music was bought and no new mixes were produced, but time would go by and before you knew it This Music Thing would just Grab hold to Me again...

In 2012 My Musical Journey started again! This dance music would prompt me to start mixing on the web via my YouTube Channel with over 45K followers, and Soundcloud with over 5K and counting... This music would even take me around the U.S and as far away as Beijing China to DJ (Twice). I'm  really excited now more than ever because I am are currently living in Miami and DJing at my residency at N'Namdi Contemporary Gallery.
